Fabulous, a Must to Taste

Excellent, educational, a good sampling of Southern cuisine. With the pralines being the first stop, it left a sweet taste for the grits, etc. that followed; perhaps the Sweet Shop could be the last stop rather than the first. Nancy, the tour guide, did an excellent job. It was fun meeting the other tourist participants and interacting with them about their local cuisines elsewhere.

More historical than haunted

Our tour guide was very nice, but quite boring. It was also very hard to hear him. There was a lot of history on our tour, but only three ghost stories in the whole hour and a half. It was not scary at all. It was quite disappointing, especially after paying 18 a ticket!!!

This was a fun way to spend a Friday afternoon in Charleston, SC. I would like to see them cover more restaurants and not businesses. The Spice House was interesting but not needed in this tour.

My daughter and I scheduled this tour for our first day in Charleston and that was a very good decision. It gave us the base to decide how to enjoy the rest of our stay. It was very informative with interesting tidbits by a very gracious hostess.

My friend and I recently took the "Savor the Flavor" tour and I highly recommend it. Brooke was an wonderful guide. A true foodie, she was able to guide us through the history and prosperity of Charleston through its food. I have never been on such a tour. The bites and tastes along the way were great but the guide is really the star.

The tour was pretty boring and not scary. With the exception of visiting the dungeon which was interesting everything else was very mundane. Would not recommend. Take a carriage tour instead

A quick educated taste of Charleston SC

The tour was delightful but really too short. It is 2+ hrs, but they go so fast as much is spent walking. Our tour guide, Susan, was the epitome of the gracious Southern lady and gave us a wonderful rich background on the key elements of Southern foods as well as a few tidbits of Charleston history. Grits, cornbread, BB-Q, pralines - just a few of the tastings and all delicious. We went back to several of the stops for dinners. This is a nice way to taste and see a bit of old South. We loved it!

one of the best tour guides we have experienced in years of traveling. She was serious and not full of jokes and self-references; she was patient and kind. I learned as much about Charleston in 2 1/2 hours as was p0ossible.

I found this tour highly informative and done at a nice pace. We got to see and hear about many of the fine Charleston homes and their history up close and personal and could linger for pictures and questions and really soak up the atmosphere that is Charleston. There was plenty of time in the afternoon to return to the historic homes open to the public or go on to other activities. This tour is a GREAT way to begin your stay in the area.

This was a great way to start our week in Charleston. The guide was fantastic and she loved answering our questions. I enjoyed the places we visited and the food was just a little taste of Charleston had to offer. Our tour guide also gave us recommendations for other places that we may enjoy. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
