	Better of the two.... The Charleston Ghost and Graveyard Tour

	It was a nice evening and we enjoyed the stroll through town and history and stories that our guide offered. He seemed knowledgable and was a good story teller, it just wasn't overly exciting and it wasn't scary at all. It was nice to be able to go into the graveyard while another tour company was just looking in through the gates. We had a few minutes to take some pictures, capture orbs and inspect a few gravestones before we were off to our next location. We ended in a parking lot being told a story of Poogan's Porch, it was a good story, but it would be better to be in the story not just looking at the outside of a building from a neighboring parking lot. All in all, not the tour I would gripe about being a waste of time and money, I will save that for the Haunted City Jail Tour that we took the next evening. So out of the two this was far better a deal and time. I hope Zerve gives me the opportunity to write on the jail, as it was the most disappointing and boring $34.00 my husband and I have ever spent. From the lighting to the limited time inside the jail to the extensively long and boring stories the guide told, there was nothing worth a penny on this tour, so if you are booked for one...save your money and book another tour!

	Susan, our guide, was very infromative and entertaining. It was great being able to walk around the city after dark and see the sites in that perspective. My daughters and I enjoyed the walk (easy and comfortable to do) which was lead at an enjoyable pace. My youngest daughter even captured some orbs on her digital camera. She was very excited. What a pleasant way to spend the evening with family!

	the tour guide was awesome and obviously loved history - best "night" tour that i have done - and i have done a lot - there is nothing really rated "R" about it - the history itself is sometimes gruesome - not for kids, but very interesting to adults - i think our whole group loved it - WHERE COMFORTABLE SHOES - ground is unstable and it is DARK

	The ghost stories were interesting but I thought we would walk around and see more of Charlston. We cut through several parking lots which was less then charming. It would have been nice to have some flashlights to read the grave stones with.

	This was a great tour, and I recomend it as part of everyones Charleston experience. It does cover some history and gives you a good background to Charleston and its lore. This isn't a tour meant to scare you but you may get the occasional chill anyway. Got some great pictures from the tour also. I recommend that you take your camera, you never know what you might get!! I liked this one so much we went on another Bulldog tour the next night!

	Awesome tour, would have liked to see the basement...I have heard you can go down their but some tour guides wont bring the tour down their. Our tour guide was great and we got lots of orbs in our pictures!

	Our guide gave us so much detailed information, including names and dates of the events. A week later and I'm still telling my friends and family members stories. We'll be sure to book another tour on our next visit to Charleston.

	This was a lot of fun. I had agroup of 8 women and we all enjoyedour tour very much. Our guide was very knowlegable and funny.

	I have done 4 different ghost tours of the Charleston area over the years and this one has been the best by far. The tour guide was knowledgable, fun, well-spoken and connected well with the group. I enjoyed the 9pm tour, as the darkness added to the allure.

	It was very interesting and the guide did a very good job of relating stories and events that happened. At one point I was sure it was all a scam then I wasn't so sure any more. Very enjoyable and I would do it again

	We really enjoyed the tour. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had originally scheduled the Friday tour at 9pm but due to travel delays we missed the tour. While out and about we stopped in the office. We knew that we were out the 36.00 for the Friday tour but really wanted to go on a tour on Sunday if we could. We picked the Ghost and Graveyard tour and while paying we just mentioned that we missed the tour on Friday because of our train. She went ahead and put us down as paid and so that we didn't have to ay for the tour twice. The tour guide was very friendly and the stories were interesting and entertaining. A fun evening.

	We should have known what we were in for when the three children under ten years of age on the tour before us came out saying, "That wasn't scary at all!". The place does look and feel a bit creepy at night, but it just wasn't the least bit scary - and this comes from a woman who gets freaked out by any horror film. We were disappointed when the tour guide told us that there are no records from the jail, so they don't have any stories about any criminals who were imprisoned there. You sort of need that for a good ghost story. Instead, she just showed us around the place and briefly locked us in a cell with the lights off. This is the type of tour that would be fun if it were free, but shelling out the cash for it is just not worth it.

	You can take a carriage ride and get a good, normal look at old Chalestown and new Charleston. If you want to know what went on while this historic city was being developed, take this tour and experience the not so politically correct side of life in colonial and civil war Charelston.

	This was not at all the tour we were expecting. We visited a few cells and that was it. We were told of the torture area in the basement but were not taken there. If I were a ghost, I think that is where I would be hanging out. The guide constantly reminded me of the old Medicine Wagon Hawker. You know, "Step right up, for just one thin dime, cure all your ills" type of thing. She was well educated on the goings on of the jail. It also seemed she was trying to convince everyone about how haunted the jail was by telling us about the "ghost hunters" that had visited. It is a detail I only needed to hear once but heard at least 5 times. Even though a young lady appeared to be faint or dizzy from the tour. It too seemed contrived. The parents, in my opinion, were no where near as concerned about her as I know I would have been if she were my daughter. There is no way I would not have completely stopped the tour to make them let me and her out. If fresh air is all it would take to make her feel better, you can be sure fresh air is what she would have been getting even if I had to knock a new window into the place. This is more theatrics than anything else.
