| I went on this tour with my wife and was quite impressed. The tour guide, Eli, had an appropriately dark and eerie tone and did a great job of making the audience feel as though they were truly connected to the area they were touring. He clearly knows his history and did a great job of explaining it. He has a good sense of humor and is a competent guide with just the right amount of creepiness--I wonder if he moonlights as an undertaker? Highly recommended. | ||||||

| Our tour and its guide were fantastic. The tour itself was very enjoyable and the tour guide was obviously knowledgable about the area and its history, as well as enthusiastic. He was even nice enough to walk us to the area of our parking garage because we were unsure of how to get back. I would definitely take this tour again and request the same guide. | ||||||

| I found the Gohst and Graveyard tour fun, entertaining, and worth my money. I did not experience the scary factor. I did enjoy the tour and found all the stories interesting. Our tour guide JIm seemed interested in all the stories even though you know he had told them a million times. I think it is a good tour for first time visitors to Charleston. | ||||||

| Our family enjoyed this ghost and graveyard tour. We have mixed ages from 50 to 12. It was a fun evening. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny and had us moving from each location in just the right amount of time. It is not a tour designed to frighten but more to hear some spooky stories about old Charleston. I wouldn't recommend it for families with young children. They would have a hard time maintaining the right attention span. Great for 10 years old and up. | ||||||

| The tour guide (Ginger) was very knowledgeable about the tour and a good story teller. There was another group on the property (part of the school that actually owns the property) and they were building things and playing music which was distracting from the tour and sort of put a damper on the atmosphere. I would recommend going on a later tour (after 8:00 pm) to avoid these distractions and have the added benefit of a spooky tour after dark. | ||||||

| This tour was great if you are just going to hear about the place. As paranormal investigators, we were very disappointed at all the human activity that was disturbing to any spirits or entities that were normally in the jail. The jail itself has extraordinary possibilities for investigation. We just need to have the jail to ourselves for a true investigation that isn't contaminated by human sources. I absolutely recommend toe tour for the non investigative person, it is rich with history and perspective. We will be back in the summer when the human element is removed from the jail, and then be able to do an investigation as it should be done. Looking forward to coming back, Mark E Painter | ||||||

| I am sorry but the tour guide that took us was bad she over imbelished and just talked way to much. I have been I this tour before and was taking my aunt who was visting from Ca and it was the to expensie for what we got. i feel like I should get a refund or at least a voucher to go on a different tour not with the same guide. I felt sorry for everyone in the group. poeple kept walking way to look at other things as the guide was talking and we were a glad when it was over. cheri guire | ||||||

| We had a great time during the tour and got a lot of neat pictures ( no ghosts, though ). The tour guide (I can't remeber his name) was very knowledgable and seemed to have a good time while with us. The only thing that was a little dissapointing was the time factor. I really thought the tour would last longer than it did and we would have a little more time to take pictures, but it seems that we had to hurry through to make room for the next tour coming in. Over all, I give the guide a 10 for 10 and the tour itself a 8 for 10. Had a great time, it just didn't last long enough. | ||||||

| My husband and I went to see the Darkside as our very first tour. Lane, our tour guide was excellent. He knew so much about the history of charleston and how he told the story was incredible. He explained everything in detail and brought us to the graveyard which is not something usually done on this particular tour. I would recommend this tour even if its your first. We can't wait to go back and do another one. Wear sneakers though...alot of walking. | ||||||
