	What a cool place! We loved it. It would be neat to do an all night ghosthunt there. Suzanne was very informative and her stories were very exciting. Luckily no Hags followed us home. Charleston is a beautiful city and well worth the trip from PA.

	The tour wasn't so much spooky as horrifying. It's hard to believe that less than 100 years ago prisoners were treated so inhumanely! The facility was authentically derelict and creepy--this is not a Disney ghost tour! Our tour guide (Susannah, I believe) was extremely well informed, and managed to maintain the attention of my hyperactive 10 year old and bored-by-nature teenager. I would recommend this tour--and particularly this tour guide We're already looking forward to our next Charleston visit--and Bulldog ghost tour!

	Go on it, even if it's your first tour in the area. It provides an interesting twist to the local Charleston history I've heard. Also, the tour guides are very flexible and will tell unplanned stories and take unplanned detours according to the specific interests of the participants.

	The tour was fun. Definately worth the price of the ticket. I wouldn't call it scary or spooky......obviously some ghost tales, but nothing that would scare anyone. If you are interested in local history, which I imagine most people are who are visiting Charleston, you will enjoy it. We did two tours, this one and The Darkside of Charleston. Our tour guiede Susan D. for that tour had a better delivery of her stories.....much more fluid...........like she was retelling a tale she knew very well. The guide for this tour was good, but her stories seemed like she had to learn them and her delivery was a bit stilted. No complaints, but having done both tours, we enjoyed the Darkside better.

	The tour was enjoyable. Our guide Lane was obviously very knowledgeable in Charleston history, and could answer any question asked, but the tour itself seemed a bit meandering. Still I'm a history and crime buff so I enjoyed the overall tour. My biggest reccomendation is to tell Lane to leave the "dip" behind so he isn't spitting into a cup during the tour, and will be more understandable when he speaks.

	Interesting history for my friend who was visiting Charleston from England for the first time. It was good, but I was hoping to learn something new.

	Prior to my trip to Charleston, I had done a lot of research into the different walking tours there. This particular Bulldog Ghost and Graveyard tour had some reviews that said the cons were few stories told and lack of creepiness. As for the former concern, I did not feel that I heard too few stories. Realistically, one can only have a certain number of stories on an hour and a half tour, so I thought it was appropriate to have about 4-6 stories. Plus I felt that the stories were very detailed and were told with enthusiasm by the tour guide. As for the latter concern, I have gone on many ghost tours in my days, and none ever are really creepy... how can traveling in a big group of people in a pretty well-lit city ever be creepy? I didn't do it for that factor, so I was not disappointed. I learned a lot about history and culture in Charleston, as well as the local legends. Overall, my boyfriend and I had a great time and would recommend it to anyone.

	Our group didn't have any paranormal events occur, but the tour guide was very knowledgeable and the history of the jail house made it at least interesting. However the 16 dollars a head for a 45 minute tour was a bit much and I would not pay it again.

	The tour was very informative and educational in that it provided a different perspective of history. I would recommend it only after a general historic tour of Charleston. It is not for general entertainment and some of the details can be rather gruesome.

	i understand that this tour is given often and the stories have become memorized, but our guide was...forcing inflection . i dunno, it was alright but...and the Poe story was only half told. it was interesting. i guess it just fell a little flat with me.

	The tour guide, Suzanne, was a good story-teller and created a good effect. The tour offered good insight into crime and punishment and how the nature and magnitude of "just punishments" has evolved over the years and across cultures. However, it was not scary as you would expect a ghost tour to be.

	The over all tour was good. There were great stories of the area and people that had things happen to them in the stories. You are encouraged to take pictures, so don't forget your camera. The only negative comment that I would have is there were no places to sit prior to the tour starting. We were standing out in the cold weather waiting and the people with younger kids had to sit on the ground if they were to sit at all.

	The tour was different from what I had expected in that it was not scary at all. The stories were interesting and well-told. I thought it was a much better way to spend an evening in Charleston than getting wasted at a local bar.

	The guide did a good job and we enjoyed the stops. I would have liked a couple of minutes to look around (the graveyard and the dungeon) after she finished talking, but she moved on quickly. The negative of our tour was other customers. There was a boy (about 9 years old) who asked question after question and was not kept under control by his parents. They also had two young children (about 12 months) who were fussy and crying through the entire dungeon. Maybe Bulldog needs an age policy (no one under 3 years?) and a comment about limiting young children's comments. Don't get me wrong, I love kids. I am a kindergarten teacher. However, I paid $54 and I want to get my money's worth too.
