| This was our second ghost tour in Charleston. We had such a great time on the first that we had to do it again. The first tour was with a company who doesn't have access to go inside some of the places so we decided that we would use Bulldog tours for that reason. We had high hopes for the Dungeon, but were greatly disappointed. During this tour we heard basically the same stories as the first ghost tour we went on which was quite frustrating....there has got to be more that 5 ghost stories for all of Charleston!! Our tour guide was quite unenthusiastic and seemed like she couldn't wait until it was over so that she could head home. During a couple of the stories I wanted to jump in and add information that we heard on the tour we took with the other company. I would just say to people undecided on whether or not to take a ghost tour of Charleston, Do It!!!!!!!!! It is an awesome history lesson on an amazing city and there are some downright creepy things going on. I just would consider other companies because the tour guide is everything and ours was really not good! | ||||||

| We were a small group and it was the perfect night for a ghost tour; the full moon adding to the spookiness! Our guide Tyler was very engaging and related the stories with great spirit. I had done the Ghost and Graveyard, the Haunted Jail and the Dark Side of Charleston tours before. I enjoyed the Ghost and Dungeon tour the most. The only thing that I felt was less than perfect was that there was one story that I heard on 3 of the tours and each time, I got a slightly different version. I think there should be some coordination among the tour guides so they all stick to the same version of the story. | ||||||

| The tour was very informative and a lot of fun. The guide was very knowldgeable and had answers for everybody's questions. It seems some people expect it to be an amusement park ride where ghosts and goblins jump out at you, it's not like that. If you're looking for a fun tour where you can get some great pics, then go for it. | ||||||

| The tour was great and very imformative. I actually learned more about Charleston's history on this tour than I did on the bus tour. Our tour guide, Lane, was excellent and had a real passion for the history and storytelling. I would definitely recommend this tour to others. | ||||||

| My only complant is that we went on a night time tour and it was interrupted a great deal by a student that was griding away and weilding. You would think it would be possible to schedule student time around tour times or vice versa. Other than that we had a great time!! | ||||||

| I did this tour because I had fun on the dungeon tour the night before. I was disappointed in the jail tour because of the amount of noise the art students were making in the basement. The sounds of hammers and a table saw were very distracting. Also our guide wasn't very good. She was only interested in telling her stories but not really interested in talking with the people on the tour. I felt like she just wanted to do her job and have us leave. If I can find a tour time that the art students won't be present and a better tour guide I will try this tour again. | ||||||

| My family, yes...even my fifteen-year-old daughter, enjoyed our first ghost tour! Susan was very knowledgeable about the history of all of the ghost stories that she shared with our group. My husband and I especially liked how she included our nine-year-old son. He was the youngest member of our group and she allowed him to carry the meter. She made him feel just as important as all of the adults and she made sure that he wasn't scared by the ghost stories...she let him know that although they are true stories...they are also history. My daughter and I both have digital pictures of orbs throughout several spots on our tour...how cool! As a family, we have already agreed that when we return to Charleston...we will be returning to Bulldog Tours for the jail tour next! | ||||||

| Barbra was our guide and she was fantastic. She took an interest in the group, told great stories and what to look for. She would look at our digital photos to see if we had something. I felt like she was having as much of a good time as we were. I do wish the time in the dungeon was longer or we could see more of the dungeon. I will do this tour again. | ||||||

| I would recommend this tour for most people who enjoy a good ghost story. We had an excellent tour guide who was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about giving the tours. We loved the various stories she told us as we walked around the outside and inside of the jail. There was definitely a presence to the place as you walk around. This tour was the highlight of the day, and I would most certainly take it again! | ||||||

| Our guide was very versed on a tremendous amount of history of Charleston. The ghost stories were astonishing and quite believable. The walk thru the cemetary was really amazing as one of the guest actually saw a large white ghost bent over one of the graves as we approached the cemetary. | ||||||

| I paid for eleven (11) people to tour the old jail cell. I was as well as many in my group very disappointed in the price paid per person for the amount of visual experience - it was only a few rooms and they were under excavation taking away from any "haunted" feeling...the tour guide was wonderful and provoking...we just felt that it was way too expensive per person for this tour and would not recommend it to friends if the price wasn't cut by a third or more. I paid $168 plus a $15 tip ...and really felt my money would have been spent better on some other site seeing tour. | ||||||

| It was a waste of money. Our tour guide was a very nice girl but she was not a very good guide. Way too "hokey". She would be a good giude for children but not adults.The tour was not scary in the least and should be a childrens' tour in the future. You could get these stories from any local on the street. | ||||||
