I do not recommend this tour. It is not good at all.

Hoon Calhoun was an awesome tour guide! We had a great time and learned a lot from our tour guide. We would recommend this tour to any one visiting Charleston.

Brooke was very very knowlegeble about the entire tour! She was well spoken and I had a lot of fun! I am planning on taking all four of the other "haunted scary tours" soon! I have recommended this tour to everyone at my job as well as friends!!

Great tour. The scare factor is dependent on your own imagination. Fascinating information was relayed during the tour and Glenn was great!

It may not be for everyone. I thought it was very interesting and it was good to hear about some of the Darksides of Charleston. Our guide Jim was Great!

I was not to excited about the Dungeon tour. I had went on the Jail tour a year before and expected to see Dungeon like I did Jail. 1 room in the Dungeon and that was it. Not much on the Ghost tour part of it either. Our tour guide talked about 1 ghost and the rest of the time was left standing on the sidewalk while she tried to scare a small child that was on our tour.

It was pretty good I expected a little more for the price. It did provide a nice walk and the tour guide Karen was good. I just expected more than 3 stops on the tour.

My family lives here in Charleston and we had houseguests come in from New Jersey. We have gone on the jail tour and walking tours before and thought it would be fun for us all to go. I was disappointed with the tour this time around. Though the tour guide was nice and somewhat enthusiastic, it was more a rehersed speech and not spooky in the least. In the future, we will plan a Carriage ride with our guests in lieu of the ghost tours. Sorry.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Would recommend bringing a small flashlight so that the gravestones could be read easier.

The tour guide, Hoon, was great. I have been on this tour before and Hoon was by far the better guide. Hoon is a lifelong Charlestonian and he knows a lot about the area. He can add a touch of emotion to his stories.

It's possible that the tour might have been more interesting had the ongoing construction activity (yes, even late at night) NOT been going on. Power saws, construction people talking, power drills, etc. all made for a very UN-enjoyable experience. I would not recommend this tour to anyone unless they were guaranteed that the construction activity would CEASE during a tour. We contemplated only doing ONE Ghost tour during our one day stay in Charleston. Had we only done one, it was going to be the Jail only. I am glad we actually hung around late and also did the ghost-cemetary tour. Otherwise we would have been completely disapointed. The ghost-cemetary tour saved the day.

full of chewing tobacco.... There were some interesting things brought out on the tour which sounded unbelievable to me. When I checked them out by searching on the internet I found that what was stated on the tour was half true. This actually surprised me, I thought they were complete fables. I have to also bring this up...I understand that this tour is rated R, but I think this refers to the tour content not the foul mouth of the guide. Even though I wasn't offended I could help but think of the ladies on the tour when the guide blurted out, "this ain't no f*****g nature tour!" Please understand that this outburst had nothing to do with what the tour was suppose to be about. Honestly I think you could get more information in a bookstore or on wilkepedia and then go visit the sights at your leisure. It was cheap but I still can't recommend it.

We had Lane as our guide. He is awesome. There was a drunk lady in our group who was very rude to him, and he handled it very well. The tour was alright. I wish we learned more. Lane said that we could ask questions, but we didn't know what to ask. For $18 we expected to learn more. I would say this tour is worth more like $10, unless you know what questions to ask to get more information. Lane did a lot of pausing for dramatic effect, or pausing so people could ask questions, I don't know. I read the other reviews before we went and other people said they had trouble understanding Lane's accent, but he is very understandable; just ask him to repeat if you don't, I guess.

The jail tour was really fun! Only downfall was the school stuff in the jail that took away from the experience. Also would have liked to go into more rooms. Thank you to stephen our tour guide for a great tour!

Enjoyed the Ghost and Graveyard Tour very much. We had fun walking the city after dark and hearing about some of the ghostly stories that are unique to Charleston. Our tour guide was a wonderful storyteller who was able to convey the stories as well as navigate the crowds spilling out of Charleston's many bars and restaurants.
