| Our tour guide was full of knowledge about local history from the earliest days to present. Nice walk through the historic streets and along the Battery. | ||||||

Very Boring

| Even though our leader was very sweet and knowledgable this tour was boring and a total waste of time and money. There was only one mention of a ghost and the entire rest of the tour was on the history of a church and how headstones were made. Not at all what is advertised. | ||||||

| Our tour guide was very good. He (Glenn?) was very informative and patient with my 9 year old daughter, who asks alot of questions. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Charleston. | ||||||

| I took the Ghost and Graveyard tour on a Monday (08/31/09) night at 9:30. Our tour guide was very good. He was a guy probably in his mid-late 20s, but I can't remember his name. Not only did he tell good ghost stories, but he knew a lot about the history of Charleston. The main part of the tour was spent in the graveyard. You walk to different places in the graveyard and around town. Once you get to the spot, the guide will tell you a ghost story. He was good with answering all questions. He also told some random facts about Charleston during the walk. He was interested to hear what activities my mom and I were doing while visiting and offered a little insight. I think its better to take the 9:30 tour than the 7:30 tour b/c its completly dark and adds some creepiness to the tour..haha. Some ppl complained of bugs, but I wore pants and was fine. Bring your camera and take some pictures. You never know what you may catch! Overall it's a good tour and I recommend others to take it. I would also take other tours by this company if the opportunity arose. | ||||||

waste of money

| Don't waste your money on this tour. The tour guide was rude and the stories provided are no better then what you can find by doing a little research on your own. I suggest to walk through historic Charleston and read the history boards attached to the homes that have stories to tell. Definately not worth the money. | ||||||

| First let me say our guide Susan was wonderful. However for the price we paid I expected a lot more than walking around the outside of the jail and then going in 2 rooms and a hallway. I was very disappointed. When we walked outside and she said ok I am going to let you go now a few people (myself included) said that's it? I would not go back and for the qualilty of what was classified on the website as possibly the scariest place you will ever go, I give it 2 thumbs down. | ||||||

Not scary at all!

| We had a great guide -- he told some wonderful stories and kept the group involved throughout the entire walk -- but there wasn't anything really scary about it...... ...would have been better if there were less people in the group. We had 17 people, and it took a long time for everyone to catch up when it was time for the guide to talk. | ||||||

| My sister and I had watched the Ghost Hunters regarding Charleston and we were very anxious to go on this tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgable about the "goings on" at each site. We enjoyed it very much. | ||||||

| I had taken this tour once before with my husband. We really enjoyed the stories. So when my mother and I were going to Charleston I knew that I wanted to take her on this tour. The tour was good but there were many stories that I didn't hear this trip. The last tour guide had a booklet of photos to show and more in depth stories. This trip the stories seemed like they were missing something. And he only told half of what I had gotten on the last trip. My mother was a little disappointed because I had raved about it before. She was expecting more too. I ended up filling in where the tour guide left off. Overall, I would recommend this tour. It could have been the guide that we got. I would go at least one more time. | ||||||

Whole Family Loved the Tour

| Kids drove me nuts begging to take the tour and I begrudgingly gave in. Turns out, the tour was actually fun and the kids had a blast (ages 9 & 11). Wasn't "haunted house" kind of scary but a few of the stories were kind of spooky/thought provoking. Glad we chose the tour that gets to go into the graveyard as there were a couple of other ghost companies that had to stand outside the gates. Kids kept us up 'til midnight with their ghostly insights. | ||||||

Ghost & Dungeon Tour

| We had a nice tour with a very friendly tour guide, however, I thought his stories were disjunct. It was an enjoyable time though especially the dungeon tour. It was interesting to see such an old building and the construction over this building. | ||||||

| I goofed up the reservation online but the Bulldog staff were very accomodating to change the tour date when I called them last week. Left the kids with my inlaws since this is "rated R". Wife wanted to do a ghost tour but I talked her into doing this one instead since the kids weren't with us. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable on the subjects of crime, prostitution and bizarre Charleston history. Who knew such a charming city had such a crazy past?? Wife and I both enjoyed the tour. FYI - it is RUDE to talk on your cell phone while on tour, even if you stand 15 feet away. | ||||||

| Was neat to learn about the "haunted" side of Charleston. Loved the Dungeon - so much history in the building and I can't imagine what the prisoners experienced there. Tour was a fun way to spend an hour and 1/2. The guide kept us all entertained with his humor and wit. Can't wait to take my nephews on this tour when we visit Charleston again. | ||||||
