Great and enjoyable time--learn as much about historic Charleston as you do about its hauntings. |

The tour guide did a nice job and I enjoyed the stories, but we were not allowed to go in and see where they took place. We could only stand outside of the building or the graveyards. It cost my family $82.00 for this tour. It took a little over an hour. It was too expensive for what we were able to do. I felt so strongly about this, I contacted the tour company. Instead of understanding about the expense, they chose to interpret my email as I was complaining about our tour guide and stated that if another complaint was made, he would be suspended! I could not believe it!!! Nowhere did I complain about the tour guide. It wasn't his fault we weren't able to go inside the buildings, or the price of the tour. When I emailed back to defend our tour guide, I was never even given the courtesy of a response. I will never choose this tour company again. In my opinion, you should choose the company that will allow access to the buildings. Even so, it is still expensive. It was $72 for my family to tour Ft. Sumter, we were there 3 hours total, and we got a ferry ride! It was a much more economical. I was very disappointed in our experience, as well as the tour company's customer service, especially, as we had been looking so forward to it, and excited about taking a "ghost tour". |

The information provided on the tour was good. I expected more stories. Easy walk and tour guide was informative but not a storyteller. It was a small group. There were 6 of us in this group. |

Enjoyed the walk around town and saw some very neat areas that we would have never found on our own and the stories were entertaining. Professionaly presented and felt perfectly safe the whole time. |

Well this ghost tour was ok, but nothing more. Charleston is obviously an incredibly historic place, and I'm sure possibly frequented by many ghosts, but it took a lot of imagination on this busy, busy night to feel any sense of impending doom. With helicopters buzzing overhead, college kids streaming past in stretch hummers, and bumping into multiple other 'ghost' groups on our walking route, it felt like a 'colour by numbers' ghost tour with all of the stories being read out of a book. I wanted to feel some real darkness, but that never came. I can't blame the guide, he was competent enough and did the job he had to do. It all comes down to the environment too, Charleston was just too busy on this fine evening. Try Edinburgh, or London, or Port Arthur, the penal colony in Australia, where shivers will literally run down your spine. I was expecting more, but that's ok. |

The tour was wonderful. It started on time and the tour guide was very enthusiastic. He told great stories that weren't too frightening but very intriguing. The tour goes around the city and you talk about quite a few "famous" places. I would recommend this to families with small children and people looking for some good tales. If you're looking to be scared silly, this is not for you. |
