| I was very interested in learning more about Charleston ghost stories. The presenter was knowledgeable but didn't stay "in character" during the tour which diluted the effect of the stories. The walk through the historic areas of Charleston was interesting but you get much more detail taking one of several carriage tours. |

| Our guide had been with the company for 15 years and clearly knew what he was talking about.
If you are looking for a haunted house, scary masks and screams, this tour is not for you. If, however, you are interested in seeing some beautiful sights, hearing some interesting tales with some neat history mixed in this is for you.
We started at the circular fountain and then made our way through dueling alleys, haunted storefronts, past cemeteries and finally concluded our tour with a visit into (yep, into) the Unitarian Graveyard.
The Unitarian Graveyard was certainly the creepiest place on the tour.
I enjoyed the walk through Charleston, the historical facts, and the great ghost stories, but don't expect people jumping out saying, "BOO!".
Great tour for someone who wants a mix of storytelling and sightseeing. |

| When I had originally booked the tour I thought I had entered it for 9:30 pm. I really did not look at my confirmation regarding the time. We went to meet for the tour and no one showed up. I then looked at the confirmation very closely and saw that it was for 7:30. I know the letter stated there is no refund and no rescheduling so we ended up losing our money. |

| Our tour guide was nice, but not very knowledgeable. We knew some of the stories better than he did. He did not have good story telling technique and he was unable to capture our attention. Basically we were just walking around Charleston in the dark with a group of strangers and occasionally stopping to hear a poorly told story which was more often than not incomplete and inaccurate. There are better tours available for the money. |

| Tour guide was very informative but not a good storyteller. For the price… buy the book and walk it yourself. |

| The tour was the biggest waste in my entire life. Tour guide, Ian could not seem to keep his dates in chronologic order. It was impossible to follow his information. Some information lacked creditability. I would not reccomend this tour to anyone!!! |

| We wore comfortable shoes and still ended up with blisters. Lot of walking at a pretty brisk pace. So worth it. Heard a lot of interesting history. Guide was witty, funny and knowledgeable. Was enjoyable, you don't even have to believe in ghosts. Fun. Would do it again. |

| The tour was good overall...It did start a little late due to checking in all of the people. I would like the guides to show up at least 20 minutes in advance not 10 as it was this weekend...the only reason I say that is we had dinner reservations at Peninsula Grille after the tour which we here slightly late for. I based our reservation on the time the tour would take and as the web site states the tour leaves promptly at 7:30pm....other than that the guide was very nice and informative. The route was good and going to the unitarian graveyard was a treat in the dark. I have lived in Chas. for 14 years and never took a tour until now. Glad I used this company and I have enjoyed several of Julian's books before.
Thanks

| A group of us were visiting my sister in law, a Charleston local, and we decided to take this tour. The ghost stories were interesting enough, but we never went in any buildings, scary graveyards or anything. All of the stories were told on the street or in a courtyard near the building in which the story took place and we kept thinking we'd get to go in, but nope. Perhaps we didn't read up enough on the specifics, but we were very disappointed and were glad when it ended. |
