The guide was very informative and knew a lot about each spot that was showcased on the tour. He also knew other random history facts that tied into the stories which was really neat. I did this as a present for my Dad for Father's Day. He loved it!!

My husband and I REALLY enjoyed this tour! We are so glad we booked with this particular company. The tour guide was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. He made sure to include everyone in the group so no one missed a single thing! There were some repeat customers in the group, and they said this tour was a little different from the last time they took it. That means that maybe I'll get to learn a different ghost story next time I go back to Charleston, because I WILL take this tour again. Even if you think ghosts and ghouls are hogwash (but that doesn't include me!), it's so interesting to find out what the locals have passed down from generation to generation. You can go to any restaurant and find out about their food and their culture, but this tour is GREAT for finding out their "spirit"ed past!

Wanted more stories

I think the ghost walk had potential, but it fell a little short of my expectations. I have been on a ghost walk in Savannah, GA before, and that walk had around 10 different ghost stories and locations that we went to. This walk really only had 3. For this tour, a lot of the time was spent sitting around and listening to the history of Charleston. I understand the importance of history to some degree, but it is supposed to be primarily about ghosts....not a history lesson. That part disappointed me. Also, although the tourguide was nice, he seemed a little like a theatrical/writer wannabe. He kept pouring out his big words, drama and inflections so much that several times I could not even understand what he was talking about! He was a bit over the top!

Our guide was highly personable, highly knowledgeable & highly entertaining. No comparison to a very similar tour we had taken a couple of days before, down in Savanna. This tour was vastly better and more fun & interesting!

Not as good as other ghost tours we have taken.

The guide was informative obout the stories he told, there just weren't many of them. We walked a considerable bit but only actually went into 1 place that had anything to do with ghosts, the Unitairian Cemetary. It was just not nearly as good as other companies tours that we have taken.

Charelston Past Comes Alive at Night

Guide was an excellent storyteller--brought the stories and history of Charleston to life with his vivid portrayl of the lives of some of Charleston's most interesting residents. I think the only thing we would like to have seen was a bit more spooky/freaky--everyone goes on a ghost tour wanting to be just a little bit scared!! Ilbeit I did have a few chills in the darkly lit Unitarian cemetary.

Ghost Tour

The Ghost Tour was excellent. Our guide captivated my daughter's attention, not to mention the rest of the group. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to mix historical facts with the ghost stories. All of the children hung on each of his words and has been repeating everything story to everyone they know. I would recommend this tour to everyone that I know
