| My husband and I were extremely disaapointed. We were highly anticipating this tour and could not wait to do the tour after reading a Southern Living review. Unfortunately, it did not live up to our expectations. A tour is only as good as your tour guide. We felt that it was boring and stale. |

| The Ghost Walk was very good and was enjoyed by our family on a very hot night in Charleston. The presenters were informed and interesting, even our young grandchildren were interested in what they had to tell. Afterward, we each chose a favorite ghost story, to tell a little about among ourselves Thanks for a good, not evening. |

| The ghost tour was extremely disappointing. Our first impression of our tour guide was way too laid back bordering on unprofessional. He seemed to be a very nice guy but did not speak loudly enough. Also his stories were not told in a clear or entertaining way. Finally, there were 2 to 3 other groups at each location we visited. It would seem that the different companies would communicate and cooperate in some way to stagger the beginning times so the groups were not on top of each other. I was very disappointed. |

| Numerous discounts were available from Visitors Center and Hotel.
Tour guide was poor. Acted as if he wished he were not there. Never made eye contact and repeatedly stifled yawns.
We observed other tours that appeared to be having a much better experience. |

| Unfortunately, a thunderstorm was passing through the first night we were scheduled. The tour was cancelled that night, but the guide nicely booked us for the next night.
Evidently, Charleston's ghosts were not ready to play that night either and sent another thunderstorm, thus cancelling that night. We asked for a refund. The tour, I'm sure, would have been interesting. The weather just didn't cooperate. |

| Time was taken to give background information on the ghost siteings, etc. Our guide also had a book which showed pictures of the people, places, and "ghost photograph" that she talked about on the tour.
Please allow PLENTY of time to find parking if you are going on the last 9:30pm tour as there is literally NO PLACE to park and you may end up missing the tour. We kept driving around and finally found a parking garage a block away, but it was filled and we had to wait till someone pulled out of a spot so we could pull in.
Wear comfortable shoes and get ready to walk and stand. My friend found this somewhat difficult.
It's great fun and I wish we had more time to visit more sightings!

| If you're looking for a way to get your kids excited about touring historical cities like Charleston, this is a great way to do it. My children were so involved in the ghosts stories they didn't even realized they were also learning many historical facts.
I highly recommend this tour to families with children 8 and older. |
