The tour itself is a fast way to walk around and see a part of downtown Charleston. The tour quide spoke quickly and was "scripted." I was disappointed that you didn't get to enter any of the subject haunted buildings. The history portion of the tour was interesting. I wouldn't consider it a "must do" do enjoy Charleston. |

My friend and I were in Charleston for 3 days for Blackbaud training, and wanted to go on some type of historical tour while we were there. Because we were in class until 5 pm every day, we missed the typical historical and carriage tours. We decided to try an evening Ghost Tour, and we were very happy with our decision. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and a good storyteller as well. |

I was disappointed with the ghost tour. The guide seemed somewhat unprepared. It felt more like an historical walk and not nearly as informative as a carriage tour that we had taken earlier that day. For what it was, it was very expensive. The guide told one story that was not appropriate for the makeup of the group. |

Unfortunately, a thunderstorm was passing through the first night we were scheduled. The tour was cancelled that night, but the guide nicely booked us for the next night.
Evidently, Charleston's ghosts were not ready to play that night either and sent another thunderstorm, thus cancelling that night. We asked for a refund. The tour, I'm sure, would have been interesting. The weather just didn't cooperate. |

The information provided on the tour was good. I expected more stories. Easy walk and tour guide was informative but not a storyteller. It was a small group. There were 6 of us in this group. |

I do not recommend doing this tour more than one time. It was mediocre for me as this was the 3rd time i have a done a ghost tour in charleston. I was hoping for some new stories but it is the same ones over and over. Levinia fischer, the ghost of south end brewery, and the unitarian cemetary. You can read up on these on the internet and get all the information you need. Levinia Fischer was not buried in the unitarian cemetary, however, was buried in a potters field outside of Charleston. So alot of the information is twisted for "good story telling" instead of factual information. The guide was really good in his storey telling, and I recommend this as your first and last ghost tour. |

The tour guide (Robert) was excellent and combined the fascinating history of Charleston with local ghost stories. My adult son and I enjoyed the easy pace and genuine friendliness of the your guide and will go again the next time we are in Charleston. |

Guide seemed to be overly dramatic and talked in riddles - started on one subject and went to another - difficult to understand his topic. Would not recommend this guide - others on the tour also felt the same. |

My daughter, mom, and myself came to Charleston for a long weekend and wanted to go on haunted walking tour and hear stories of local ghost sightings. Ian has an incredible gift for story telling! I loved that we started by getting a little history with the maps in the park (for background) and then walked to the local sites including inside the cemetery- very creepy and fun! We would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Charleston! |
