Our great tour guide had some visual aides of pictures which were very helpful. But what I would suggest is instead of xerox copies (taken from the author's book, I presume), it would be great if you could give each tour guide *good* copies of actual 8 X 10 (or whatever size) pictures to show. With xerox copies, it just looks cheap.
I think that would improve your tour immeasurably, because the use of even the xerox pics were extremely effective.
You can print copies of pictures fairly cheaply nowadays. |

My wife and I have lived in Charleston, SC for almost 10 years now and have been on many other types of tours through the years. We always wanted to go on a Ghost Tour and never did for various reasons. Finally we did. We both learned many new things because we thought we knew it all. We love Charleston, SC and the history of Charleston, SC. If we did not live here and took the tour of this type would most likely have learned all there is to know. We highly recommend this tour and plan to take another one. |

The Ghosts of Charleston tour was not at all what we expected. It was an excellant source of information for the history buff, but we thought that we were paying for a more ghostly, spookier look into the Town of Charleston. We were disappointed that there was very little ghost tales and haunting sites. If you are looking for the more historical side of this tour, then this would be just right for the history buff. I think that calling it the Ghost of Charleston is very misleading. We wanted SPOOKY.... |

Our guide was really into it! He didn't seem to pack in alot about ghostly things but had a ton of little trivia points about Charleston and historical items that we really enjoyed. I would reccomend the tour and the guide (Ian) to others! |

My Mother was in town for the Thanksgiving holiday from Florida and wanted to go on a ghost tour downtown. I've lived here for a few years and had never gone on one myself. A friend of mine went to college with the brother of the author of the book used in the tour so it was recommended. Ian our guide was very knowledgeable about local history, funny, and enthusiastic. It was a pretty cold night but that made no difference. He shared lots of local history, as well as items from the book and I would definitly recommend this tour, and our guide, to anyone looking for something to do or a ghost tour to go on in Charleston.

I wouldn't reccomend this tour to anybody. It was a waste of my $169.00 because I was under the impression I would actually get to see the places I was hearing about. All We got was a ghost story about the place and moved on. Thanks. |

This tour is only as good as the tour leader wants to make it. Unfortunately, our tour leader was not the most enthusiastic. Lots of talk of "orbs" in pictures but little effort on the guides part to make it seem very exciting. If I would have had the historical facts I could have done a better job! |

we had alot of fun and will most likely do it again when we are in the area. :) Found out some of the local ghost stories and local information. Guide was very helpful |
