The Ghosts of Charleston Tour - Waterfront Park

Three other ladies and myself get together each year for a girls' weekend. This year, they came to visit the me in the LowCountry. One lady requested we go on a ghost tour while we were in Charleston, so I got online and found this tour. We had a fabulous time. Jake, our tour guide, rocked! The tour lasted just the right amount of time (about 90 minutes) and he did a wonderful job of telling the stories. Jake was very accomodating with the diversity of our group (different ages, one person in a wheelchair) and this definitely impressed us. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Charleston!

We had such a great time on this tour. Our guide was Jake. He was funny, informative and seemed to really enjoy what he was doing. Our 7 year old thought he was fantastic. His tour was her favorite part of our trip to Charleston. I'd highly recommend the Ghosts of Charleston tour to anyone visiting the city! Thanks for keeping us entertained!

I absolutely loved this tour and Ben was AWESOME!!

My 17 year old son and I enjoyed this ghost tour. My son would have liked to have gone inside the places described. He particularly wanted to go in to the Unitarian Church. The speaker was animated which made his commentary interesting. It was good that he included modern events to keep your imagination going.

I really enjoyed this tour. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and I like walking as opposed to riding.

"The Ghosts of Charleston- -Waterfront Park" is an excellent excursion for having fun and learning the history of some of Charleston's most interesting landmarks! Our tour was on June 18, 2007, and was conducted by a young man named "Jake". It was obvious that Jake was extremely well-versed in Charleston's history, and his ability to relate the events surrounding the ghosts of Charleston was outstanding. Jake obviously loves his job ,and he offered many interesting points of trivia that made our walk even more interesting. We left the tour with a greater appreciation for South Carolina history and a keen sense of curiosity about the possiblity of coming face to face with the ghosts of Charleston! We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city!

I really enjoyed this tour. It was very spooky, and even if you don't even believe in ghosts it would still be thrilling to listen to.

The Guide was a very well speaker and seemed to know his stuff although I kind of hoped for a closer look at some of the sites(more hands on). Overall it was a good experience and the guide was great

Our guide was very upbeat and really enjoys his job. The whole family had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the tour and the way it was presented. This is a "must do" that ties in a lot of the history of Chalreston.
