The Ghosts of Charleston Tour - Waterfront Park

Our Leader was great! I can't remember her name..sorry! I have already recommended this tour to friends that will be in Charleston in a couple of weeks.

Had a great time. The guide was knowledgeable and gave a dramatic presentation.

great tour, would recommend to anyone. Tour guide was excellent, but the background history was a little long on telling the stories, so we didnt get to as many stops as advertised.

The tour was interesting and the guide was nice. The only thing I would have liked differently would be to have all of the stories offered be given during the tour. On the web page, there is a list of about 6 or 7 stories that are to be told on the tour. Our guide only told 3 or 4 of those in the 80 min time frame. I wished he would have spent less time on side topics and more time on the actual ghost stories. He was very nice but needs to stay on topic. We would have had a much better experience with more stories.

My wife and I took this tour at the 9:30 slot (under the veil of darkness....) and we enjoyed the history and the walk around beautiful and historic Downtown Charleston. It was a side of the city you don't get to see on the average tourist visit and the history was put on center stage. Great performance by the tour guide (albeit very rehearsed...seemed like almost nothing he said was out of his 80 minute monologue). The tour was a lot of fun and we both enjoyed it. I would recommend it to anyone who would like an interesting perspective on Charleston, especially if you are a fan of things like Goosebumps or other ghost stories. The big finale at the Unitarian church was very good too.

This was my first ghost tour. I choose this based on reviews of other ghost tours, and this one seemed to have the best reviews. The tour guide was very knowledgable about Charleston and very enthusiastic. But sometimes his enthusiasim caused him to speak a little too fast, which caused you to really have to listen intently to get the story. Visited four sites, saving the best for last in the cemetary. I paln to read the book now!

The tour guide was very enthusiastic and entertaining. It was a nice perk to be able to go in to the cemetary. We were on a ghost tour our last visit and it was mainly history and we didn't get to go in to the cemetary. This tour had a nice balance of history and spooky stories. I would recommend it to people.

The tour guide has superior knowledge of Charleston and Ghosts. He is a very talented guide and we bragged to friends and family about the tour. The best part of the experience was his story telling capabilities and theater like presentation.

I have been on several ghost tours around the country and this one is definitely at the top of the list. Our tour guide really made it an enjoyable experience with his knowledge of history and detail of each particular ghost tale. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting Charleston. It's a great way to make your way around downtown! However, understand before going that you will actually be making your way into some buildings and a graveyard or "churchyard" as we were told. It is all definitely very neat, but if you are one to get scared easily I would suggest making sure you are going in a large group or pick a more mild tour because you stand (or at least we stood) in the graveyard for close to 20 slightly creepy minutes. That is what made such an experience though. It is a ghost tour after all.

The tour was very well laid out. we loved the stories and going into the graveyard. Chilling!!!
