I enjoyed this activity... historical and interesting. You're in the midst of traffic and people, so it isn't as "creepy" as you'd think, but it was still neat to hear the stories of the area.

Great Tour - Better Tour Guide

My Fiance and I, who are both avid paranormal and supernatural fanatics decided while in Charleston to go on a Ghost Tour. We were both extremely excited and enjoyed the tour given by our very experienced tour guide Ian. He intertwined just enough whit and sarcasm to keep you entertained and his knowledge of the history of charleston was impressive. We were in a group of 10 and this was perfect! If you're not into the paranormal and supernatural i could see why you could leave a negative or mediocre review, but I couldn't give the tour and our guide anything less than a 5 Star rating. Definitely go on this tour!! Pray you get Ian!

This was my first time in Charleston but I was with my mom and it was her third trip, second ghost tour. We both found the tour guide to be very enthusiastic and fitting to the part of a tour guide. Not only did he tell ghost stories but included a lot of historical facts about Charleston. This company is the only company in Charleston with permission to enter the graveyard site of one of the ghost stories - very creepy but very cool! There were a couple of kids on our tour and they were somewhat frightened but he was able to make them feel comfortable as well. Highly recommend this tour for your Charleston trip!

I enjoyed the tour with Mr. Phillips. He was informative and humorous, very interested. Definitely a little cheesey, but after living in Charleston for 4 years and never having been on a tour, I enjoyed it.

The guide was very knowledgeable. He had some good stories about what happened but I think he was trying to put in a few too many jokes. He definitely knew his stuff. Maybe some more visuals would have been cool.

Ian was a great guide with a great personality. You could tell he enjoys what he does and that really showed through on the tour.

This was our second walking ghost tour and all members of our party left a little disappointed (our first ghost tour in Savannah, GA was excellent). The tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. However we all agreed that there was too much emphasis on Charleston's history and not enough ghost stories. In an hour and a half we only heard one ghost story, two stories explaining personal experiences and loads of history. We would not recommend this tour.

Our guide was a very good story teller who had ample knowledge of the city and stories surrounding it. Traveling to the graveyard and hearing a ghost story told by the person who experienced it was also very intense.

My girlfriend and I went on the tour for New Year's Eve. We were incredibly lucky since everyone else was out partying, therefore we were the only two on the tour. I've always liked Charleston, however this tour opened up my mind to a totally different aspect of the city. Our guide, Ian Tucker, was very well versed in his job, plus he certainly knew how to make the tour feel energetic and individualized, instead of simply someone spouting off the same speech time and again. Stories ranging from converted customs houses and alleyways where the duels of the past were fought, to perhaps one of the oldest church graveyards in the United States. I also recommend that you keep your eyes open for the unexpected; while you may not see a real apparition, you most certainly will notice things are a bit strange on this tour.
