| Nice overview of Charleston history (colonial, revolutionary, and civil war) as well as an in-depth background on pirating!

Wow. We were so looking forward to this tour. Then it was canceled. Totally disappointing. We will not book again online.

Rodney, the tour guide was not only personable but very well informed and communicative. Our 7 year old grandson kept up with him the whole way and that is all he talked about on the trip home. We not only learned about pirates and their impact on Charleston, but also some great history. We have told many people about this tour and Rodney. He is a true gem.

We had such a fun and informative tour with Brandon. We learned so much more about the history of Charleston as well as the Pirates! It was a chilly evening, but he still took the time to answer all questions and show us pictures along with all of the information. We will use Brandon again the next time we visit :)

We regret we missed the Tour. Due to illness of the other person on my reservation, we were unable to attend the event. I would definitely sign up for it again when we return to Charleston next year.

I went on the Pirate Tour with my 16 year old son and we both enjoyed the tour immensely. Our tour guide was very informative, enthusiastic, and personable which made the tour that much more fun. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Charleston.

My son knew a lot about pirates from books, but the guide knew a lot more. Was a great couple hour conversation and tour. Going inside a couple old pirate hangouts and getting the story of Blackbeard and a number of other pirates and buccaneers as they passed through the specific buildings and streets was great.

Our guide Brandon was a true historian and a pleasure to tour with! It's amazing how Piracy and politics have in common. On this tour you will learn just how much. This is a "must do" while visiting Charleston. Fun for the whole family!!!

Our guide was pleasant and affable. We saw some parts of Charleston we may otherwise have not seen. Perhaps the only awkward moments were when other tours showed up in the same spot which is likely hard to avoid in Charleston. Overall, we were very satisfied and had lots of fun.
