| My husband and I were the only ones who booked the tour for that particular night because it was freezing outside! So, it was just us and the tour guide, which was kinda nice=) He did a wonderful job retelling the history of Charleston, and the spirits that still remain. He took us to a very creepy graveyard and it sent chills down my spine-I was terrified!! (isn't that the point of a ghost tour?) Well I will say he definately did his job! We've been on other ghost tours that weren't nearly as good as this one. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about the city's history and get the pants scared off of them at the same time! RIck and Amy Greenville, SC | ||||||

| Ian was a great guide with a great personality. You could tell he enjoys what he does and that really showed through on the tour. | ||||||

| It was not what we were hoping for. We went through a lot of back ally ways and parking lots instead of the beautiful streets of Charleston. We finally did get to a graveyard which was pretty cool. The guide seemed knowledgeable but stories were random in order that it was hard to follow. Not scary. We were at least hoping for a different kind of tour of Charleston and didn't get one of those either. | ||||||

| With the number of Ghost Tours available in the area, it was extrememly confusing to purchase tickets. Most of the other companies did not charge for children under a specific age group whereas you charged $12 for a 5-year old. Wish I was told that this was a walking tour; I would have brought a stroller or opted for another activity all together. The tour was interesting but would have enjoyed seeing more than 3 locations in the city. Felt this was rushed given the time of the night (9:30pm tour) and other tour groups did more than the one we were presented with. | ||||||

| While the guide was enthusiastic and upbeat, the tour itself was very dry. There was a lot of history and we spent a great deal of time standing against a wall listening. The guide also ran late and left us three blocks from where we began. We were not taken to a "gift shop" as advertised. It seemed pointless, although the guide continually said this was the top rated tour in the area. I would recommend against taking this tour again. | ||||||

Ghosts of Charleston Review

| The ghost tour is based of the book, "Ghosts of Charleston." The book has been researched in depth, so the tour is not only about ghost stories, is gives a lot about Charleston history. The tour is not meant to scare you, it is meant to educate you. I definitely recommend that you take the tour in the dark, it adds atmosphere. The guide was very entertaining and it is obvious that he enjoys giving these tours. Our group had a very good time and we recommend this ghost tour to others. | ||||||

| We had an awesome time on our tour- Robert, our tour guide- was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about the local history and was a great story teller. We were especially happy that it wasn't "cheesy" at all...we would definitely do it again, and highly recommend it! Thanks! | ||||||

| This was our second walking ghost tour and all members of our party left a little disappointed (our first ghost tour in Savannah, GA was excellent). The tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. However we all agreed that there was too much emphasis on Charleston's history and not enough ghost stories. In an hour and a half we only heard one ghost story, two stories explaining personal experiences and loads of history. We would not recommend this tour. | ||||||

| Our guide was a very good story teller who had ample knowledge of the city and stories surrounding it. Traveling to the graveyard and hearing a ghost story told by the person who experienced it was also very intense. | ||||||

| My girlfriend and I went on the tour for New Year's Eve. We were incredibly lucky since everyone else was out partying, therefore we were the only two on the tour. I've always liked Charleston, however this tour opened up my mind to a totally different aspect of the city. Our guide, Ian Tucker, was very well versed in his job, plus he certainly knew how to make the tour feel energetic and individualized, instead of simply someone spouting off the same speech time and again. Stories ranging from converted customs houses and alleyways where the duels of the past were fought, to perhaps one of the oldest church graveyards in the United States. I also recommend that you keep your eyes open for the unexpected; while you may not see a real apparition, you most certainly will notice things are a bit strange on this tour. | ||||||

| If you want to try something that isn't like the typical tourist thing to do this is the event for you. I went with my girlfriend and another couple. Our tour guide Ian was great. He made the tour fun, knew what he was talkin about, and has great story telling ability. The stories are really interesting and creepy. It was a very fun experience. | ||||||
