The stories told by the tour guide was great, the way he delivered it really got the creepy factor high. Standing in the graveyard and having him tell the story about the women in white was extremely creepy. I think it added to the scare factor because the group was very small, if the group was bigger it would not be as scary. Overall it really got under my skin and had me thinking about it the rest of the night. Of course the city being dark and the fact that there was hardly anyone out and about in at night really added to the scary factor as well. |

Ian is a great story teller. The Unitarian graveyard is really creepy. The only two things that made this evening less perfect - and there's noone to blame for that - were the fact that it was really cold and that we're not native speakers, so we couldn't understand every single word - but the stories were told in such a captivating way that we nevertheless enjoyed the tour a lot. |

I took the tour with my 14-year-old son and his 14-year-old friend (female). We were the only ones on the tour and I appreciated the company's willingness to accommodate us with such a small group.
The kids seemed to be engrossed by our guide, and we learned some interesting history illustrated by ghost stories from various eras. I enjoyed walking around the historic district in the evening, the visit to the graveyard, and our guide's storytelling skills. He did a good job and we were glad we took the tour. |

The tour was enjoyable however most of it was story telling, tall tales, and yarns. If you are expecting scary, creepy, or hope to see a ghost you will probably be very disappointed. If you like sitting around a campfire listening to entertaining stories, this may be for you except remember it is a walking tour. |

The guide was an excellent story teller but our experience at the Unitarian Cemetery is beyond comprehension. Amazing! |

Interesting history tour, however not what i was expecting. The guide talked at a level that was hard to understand at times. He used a lot of puns which was distracting. His stories were interesting but were hard to follow. He would start one story then go to the next then say he was getting ahead of himself & go back to the orginial story. The folklore of tales we have heard from childhood was explained but didnt learn anything new about the "voodoo" that is there, which was disappointing. The visit into the cemetary was fun. The dualing alleys were fun. All in all, interesting history. Just make sure you listen carefully, if you get Ian. My boyfriend loved every minute of the tour.

We took the tour on the eve of Halloween, which increased the suspense. Our guide was a great storyteller. Hearing historic ghost stories, seeing photos that captured spirits on film and walking through the streets of Charleston at night made for an entertaining evening. The walk through the cemetary left us wondering what we'd see around the next turn. Although my husband, son and I didn't see any ghosts, we had a great time and would recommend this to our friends. |

We liked the history of Charleston section at the beginning. My friend who was visiting felt that we didn't get to hear too many stories because the 3 he did tell were so long that they ended up not being interesting and I'd have to agree. More stories less verbiage. Also, I felt it was very disappointing and unprofessional that our guide insulted other tour companies a couple of times. We had chosen this company because we felt it was the best option at the time - there was no need to put others down repeatedly. |

What a way to spend the night before Halloween. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and very enthusiastic. He was a great story teller, not your typical tour guide. He made the stories believable, and having the opportunity to go into a dark cemetery was fun and creepy at the same time. Wished he would have told more stories but he went into great details in the ones he did tell. overall great time. |

This tour (I feel) was more about the history of Charleston than of Ghosts. Even though Ghosts were involved, it seemed more about Charleston.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and witty. I would recommend it and will probably go again. |

While the overall tour information was quite interesting, the tour guide, Ian, made all the difference in the world. He is an excellent story teller. Have been on many tours, both in Charleston and elsewhere, but I never heard such a good story teller before. |

We enjoyed hearing the history of the city. The guide was very animated and did an awesome job keeping our attention. We felt he spent too much time on the first story at the echol rock and could have included a few more stories along the way. It was also weird to hear stories about places we could not go to. He said something about zones didn't permit him to take us to the church cemetary included in the story about the lady with the baby. Otherwise it was enjoyable. |
