| We enjoyed the Ghost walk and it was a fun family activity. Ian, the tour guide was educational and entertaining. Would have liked to see a few more buildings. Our 10 year old was a little frightened at bedtime that night only. Would recommend. Reading the book prior to the tour was very helpful. | ||||||

| The tour had some interesting facts that I didn't know about Charleston but the tour director could have been more interesting, too be frank he was boring!! Its a ghost tour, you expect someone who can tell a story and make you be a part of it. | ||||||

| We were so excited about the tour. We had been another ghost tour in Charleston berfore and were anticipating how much fun the tour would be. Instead we were bored. Our tour guide was very boring and was very slow. We didn't even get to go every where that the tour promised. Two other families left during the tour, but we endured to the end. | ||||||

| We were expecting a bit more out of the Ghost Walk. I suppose some of it is the fact that we are locals and had heard about many of the stories but we never really got that creepy feeling about any of the stories except for the "Headless Torso". Neither my wife nor me had heard that one. It would have made more of an impact had we actually been at the Carrigae House when the story was told instead of in front of City Hall. i think our guides delievery was a bit off on most of the tales too. She came across as almost jokey. I am not sure if she was nervous or what. | ||||||

| We paid good money for a history lesson. Ghost tours are suppose to be interesting and at least go in where ghosts have been seen. All we did was walk around the buildings and listen to history lessons about the events that took place. Very disappointed. | ||||||

| We went on the tour last Wednesday night July 30th, at 9pm. I am not sure of the gentleman's name however, he was very informative and told incredible stories!!! Only complaint I have and I am sure if you ask him, he may remember me, we went to the George Washington Memorial Park and because it was so dark and ample lighting was NOT provided, I fell off some steps and actually broke my ankle!!!! I think that when you do these tours you either suggest to the participants to bring their own flashlight or provide more lighting. Other than breaking my ankle, I had a wonderful time, unfortunately though I was not able to finish the tour and feel a little short changed. Thank you, Diana | ||||||

| Our tour guide was very animated and extremely knowledgable. The group size was small enough that we could all hear him and it felt very personal. The history and stories were very well told and extremely informative. I would highly reccomend this tour! | ||||||

| This was a great tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and brought tons of historic facts to his stories that made them both really educational and really fun. He threw in little jokes and was very enthusiastic about the tour and the stories. The guide spoke loud enough, which I appreciated because too often the guides are too soft spoken for the size of the group they're leading. There were about 12 people on our tour. The tour lasted a little under 2 hours. The guide referred to the book for several pictures, making sure we all saw the photos. It was clear that he had an excitement and love of the city, and it was contagious! We all loved the tour - and would use them again if we came to Charleston again with different people. | ||||||

| Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Charleston and its history. During the tour, however, he tried to fit in puns and jokes to entertain us. This would have been appropriate a few times, but he overdid it to the point that it was annoying. We felt that the constant comedy really took away from the appeal of a ghost tour. He also interrupted his own stories with additional information so often that it made it hard to follow the actual story at times. We were intrigued with the ghost stories, so we bought the book after the tour, read it cover to cover, and enjoyed it thoroughly. We highly recommend the book and would even recommend the tour, but cross your fingers that you get a better guide. | ||||||

| The tour was interesting. The guide was very literary and full of interesting trivia and puns. However, it was sometimes hard to follow his jokes. I would have been really happy to read a transcript of the talk (rather than hearing it orally). Still, it was fun. I also would have liked to enter a graveyard, but we didn't. | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed the tour with our guide. She was well spoken, easy to follow and a great story teller. I am not sure what the max number of guests would be included in a group, but our size which was 7 was plenty as more would have made it difficult to hear. | ||||||

Ghost of Charleston Review

| The Ghosts of Charleston Tour was overall a great experience. The tour was a relaxed promenade through the streets of historic Charleston with insight of some of the city's most haunted people and places. While the Ghost stories themselves were not the most exciting or demonic, the tour is a great way to experience the local culture. On your journey you'll see beautiful churches like St.Pauls, lavish town houses painted in Charleston's iconic pastels, and small park areas encompassed with green vegetation. The guides are really friendly and approachable. | ||||||

| I did this tour in the fall with a different tour guide. she was wonderful. told great ghost stories. kept our interest. the tour guide this time was horrible. he told maybe 1 or 2 ghost stories. the rest were just historical charleston facts. he mentioned architecture, history, city lore. very detailed. rambling, hard to follow. 4 of the 8 of us left the tour in the middle. | ||||||
