awful ghost tour

| This tour was horrible. It was led by the author of the book who must be really burnt out on this stuff. He mentioned parts of stories and left out important details that actually make them stories. No haunting details. Nothing to even make your spine tingle. I wanted to leave early to be able to get into a restaurant, but didn't want to be rude. The most interesting thing were the antics of another tour guest. | ||||||

| The information was a little jumbled and yet covered the places we visited. It was very matter of fact and reflected the mentioned book. | ||||||

More random walking than an actual tour.

| Very few actual stories of interest. Lots of silent walking in between. Not a good tour for the money. | ||||||

| Only take this tour if you are very interested in theatrics and ghostly tales. Our guide sat us down for most of the journey to tell stories. His "authentic" tales were substantiated by "last week" accounts. (Please don't insult my intelligence with "just last week..." accounts!) I thought that this tour would include great historical information, mixed with Charleston's history of being one of the most haunted cities. The internet also promised a signed copy of the book "The Ghosts of Charleston", which we did not see. My family and I were greatly disappointed. We would not recommend this tour, unless you just want to pay $20 for storytime! | ||||||

| This was a very good tour, with lots of history and suitable for children. The picture taking opportunities are awesome if you want some pictures of orbs. It even looks like we got a ghostly figure in the cemetary. I can't wait to return to do another ghost tour! | ||||||

| Going into the tour, I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that not only would we be touring some of the most haunted parts of the city, but we would be learning some history behind each haunting. The stories that are told are enough to give anyone the willies. Our tour guide Amanda seemed very well informed on the history of each story and was very enthusiastic about telling them. I didn't expect to actually see any ghosts, but you can definately feel that your tour group are not the only people hearing the stories. I recommend this tour to any "ghost hunter" enthusiest. The sceptics might not be persuaded to believe in the supernatural, but even they can enjoy the stories and the history behind the unseen mysteries of the great historical Charleston, South Carolina. | ||||||

| This tour was loads of fun! I have of friend who's terrified of the supernatural, so it was easy to scare her to death. But I definitely recommend this tour if you love ghost stories. | ||||||

| The walking tour was at an easy pace and our guide was friendly and knew her information well. We were slightly disappointed in the lack of detail offered about each of the stops. The tour only covered one of the many stories that was in the book we purchased so we were disappointed not to hear or see the many places that were referenced in the book. This tour was great for small children. We took our four year old and he enjoyed the stories. | ||||||

| The late night tour, was not what I expected. If you are going to do the tour you should be able to go into the places to see where it actually took place. We were disappointed for what we got and the money we paid. It was so hot, water should have been handed out to the paying customers. We would not go on this tour again. | ||||||

| I had fun with the tour, it was not what I expected since this was my first one. I am an enthusiast of the paranormal and was expecting what I see on TV (ghost hunt, etc). What we went on was a walking tour straight out of the book. Our tour guide was knowledgeable on the facts, history and specifics on each story. I took lots of pictures AND got some evidence of something/someone. I do another tour. It was fun for all ages who can walk through the hot steamy nights of Charleston, SC. | ||||||
