Activity Description
This is the most up-close-and-personal tour in the shortest amount of time in Annapolis. It’s the “cliff notes” version of our popular Historic District 101 tour. This tour is perfect for those short on time or just those with a short attention span. Walk with a knowledgeable guide that will lead you for one hour to the “must see” places of Annapolis’ historic district. This is not a forced march, but we keep moving at a comfortable pace. We will see more sights in less time, with no visits to building interiors. On the tour you will see:

  • Hammond-Harwood House - National Historic Landmark said to have the most beautiful doorway in America
  • Chase-Lloyd House - begun by Samuel Chase, a signer of the Declaration of Independence
  • Paca House - a five-part mansion built by William Paca, Maryland Governor & Declaration of Independence signer
  • Brice House - impressive Georgian mansion
  • Ogle House - home to two governors and where General Washington dined
  • Government House - home to Maryland’s current Governor
  • And many more...
Come join us, won't you?

On this tour, all of our stops are outside of the sights visited. There are no interior visits. If you would like a more in-depth tour, please check out our Historic District 101 tour.
