Lots of Fun and Food

We had so much fun. The guide was wonderful, the food was great, and the weather was perfect for a nice stroll around Annapolis seeing all of the historical gems. I would recommend skipping breakfast before this tour.

The tour guide did a great job of representing the people of the colonial era while also really relating to each and every participant in the tour. The amount of food was good- not too much, not too little and a good variety. Each of the shop and restaurant owners were friendly and happy to see us and share some history, too.

Great way to see Annapolis

What a fantastic, unique way to get to know Annapolis! Our guide was wonderful. The headsets provided allowed us to take our time walking, yet still not miss out on any of the wonderful information. The walking was very comfortable, and not at all strenuous - this coming from a very pregnant woman. The tour was informative and fun. The food was amazing.

Lots of interesting and historical places to see. The food was good and the restaurants were very hospitable. Even the rain we had that day put No damper on the fun we all had. Great tour!!!!!!!!!!!

Mildly fun but not worth the money

The information on the tour was fun. The guide was very informative about the historical significance of almost every house we saw on the tour. The disappointing part was the food. You get maybe half a bite of food at each stop. It's not enough to even experience the place you stopped at. And I had to buy lunch afterward because I was still hungry. This tour would be better if it was more like $20 a person. It definitely is not worth the money.

Our guide was great! She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food on the tour was more than I imagined. It was a great way to enjoy refreshments on the walk while taking in the history. I very highly recommend it.

I was full from the history lesson...not the food

i have been on several food tours in NYC and have a formed a baseline for my expectations for the Annapolis food tour. and i can honestly say, the food was subpar. first off, my gf and i where the only two people on the tour. so it was a more one on one experience with the tour guide. Our guide, "squire" james was very friendly and helpful. he was definitely a very knowledgeable in the area and was very fun to hang out with. my gf and i had a blast joking around and taking about each others personal lives. the various tour stops along the way were nice mix of both historic locations and more modern tourist spots. food wise..i thought it was sub par. first we had some ice coffee and some book store/cafe. nothing special. then some fried crab balls at some tavern. (ehh..it was so so). then some gelato (bleh...i was getting sick from all the weird food in my belly). the some crab dip at philips (food was so so...bread was kinda stale...they gave us nice souvenir glasses). had some fried coconut shrimp (nothing special). had some more ice cream (was getting sick from all the weird food combos) my 2 cents...dont go expecting a great meal from it...we ended up getting beers and burgers afterwords which was 100x better then everything we ate before this. the historic tour of the city was worth it...so feeding us along the way was a decent bonus.

I highly recommend the Annapolis Food and History Walking Tour. The tour gives visitors an excellent overview of the city's history and architecture with plenty of stops along the way for refreshment and samples of the local quisine. Our guide, Mistress Susan, was very personable and accomodating.

Fun way to spend a summer day in Annapolis!

Marco was a great historian and docent, we loved all of the food, it is our second time taking this tour, there was plenty to eat for a lunch. Recommend that the guide have some advertisement or handout to give to interested gawkers--maybe a logo on your leather pouch so others know how to take the tour. We liked the two new seafood additions to the tour but we also miss the popovers from last summer. Keep up the great work, see you next summer!

Wear Comfortable Walking Shoes

enjoyed tour; would have enjoyed it more if everyone had been wearing comfortable walking shoes; we were late arriving at many of the stops which caused mild confusion for the stop owners.
