This tour was informative and fun. I grew up in Annapolis, but still learned a lot about the town. My wife and her mother both had a great time as well. They grew up in Miami and so they really learned a lot about the city. We also did a boat tour that afternoon.
They both commented on how informative the guide was and how much he clearly loved his job. It really showed, he was able to answer every question we had. We're now thinking about doing the Haunted Tour. All in all, a great day and great time.
Thanks again, |

The tour provides an excellent introduction to Annapolis' historic district. Our guide, Marcus, was very knowledgeable and extremely personable. The tour length was just right: long enough to see and learn alot, but not too long where some (particularly children) might lose interest. |

When I signed up for the tour it was so that my 9 year old son Alex could learn a little local history. As it turns out my children and I were the only ones on the tour. I told our tour guide, a wonderful man named Gary, to please gear the tour at Alex. As it turns out Gary is a homeschool teacher and he was more than happy to oblige. He and Alex had a wonderful time, as a matter of fact Alex has recommended the tour to his friends. He told them he learned a lot AND it was cool! High praise from a 9 year old. He has also asked when we are going to do another one. I recommend the tour, and to anyone with children I recommend gary as your tour guide. |

We enjoyed our walk around historic Annapolis. Our tour guide, Kelsey Swensen was interesting and informative. It was well worth the time and the cost. |

The guide was great and had an impressive depth of knowledge - for every question we asked, he had a detailed answer. Also he had a great sense of humor and kept us in stitches! Would recommend this to anyone. |

There were only 5 people on our tour (3 who were part of my group) so we had a lot of personalized attention and information provided. Gary, our guide, was wonderful, providing us information on the city from its roots through colonial times and beyond. He showed us things that we had simply not noticed on our own, and the glimpses into some of the paying attractions helped us decide which to pay additional for. My 12-year old daughter enjoyed the tour as much as the adults and we would definitely take another tour with Capitol City Colonials in the future. |

Carolyn was very enteraining, attentive, and knowledgable. Did not feel rush, and no questions went unanswered. Very fun loving lady. She gave really great suggestion for the rest of the day, and some other points of interest. Have not been in Annapolis since 1991 and she made the day fun. It was really nice to have a small group rather than a large one. Will definetly suggest using you in the future to all my freinds |

My wife and I toured Annapolis with Capital City Colonials and really enjoyed ourselves. Our guide - Squire Howard - was very friendly and provided a lot of interesting insight into colonial life in Annapolis. I would recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in colonial history. |

Our guide, Squire Buffington, was easily recognizable in his colonial attire; he was prompt and professional, but friendly and immediately put us at ease. He entertained and informed us, sharing his passion for both historical and contemporary aspects of the historic district. We are folks that like to ask questions and Squire Buffington welcomed them and answered knowledgeably. There were only five people in our group which allowed lots of interaction with our guide. He also provided helpful tips for other activities we had planned during our stay in Annapolis. This tour exceeded our expectations and was time and money well-spent! |

The guide was very knowlegable and versed in the history, architecture and customes of the colonial and pre colonial times. He was pointed out the different types of architecture and showed the differences. He also was attune to the current Annapolis resoration efforts. The tour was well worth the walk, and we came away with a recommendation for a nice place to eat |
