Seller Description:
We love Annapolis and have many years of experience hosting guests in our beautiful city. Some of our tour guides have been guiding visitors through Historic Annapolis for over a decade.

All of our guides are certified to lead you through the historic homes that are open to the public. Additionally, all guides are also docents at either the State House or one of the historic houses in Annapolis.

We focus on providing fun and entertainment while sharing our passion for the history and sights of Annapolis. We want your experience to be great, so we limit all of our tours to no more than 12 to 15 guests per guide.

Our photogenic senior guide, David Smith, is a past recipient of the Hospitality Person of the Year award, presented by the Maryland Tourism Council.

Our tours normally run from spring through fall and will begin again in March. Please check back as March gets closer for the next available dates!

Activity Description
Want to venture beyond the usual radius of the Annapolis City Dock that a walking tour or your legs will allow? Then fast-forward glide into the future -- on a Segway! The best way to experience more of historic Annapolis in less time. Use this time machine with our colonial-clad guide (optional) to experience the past via the present.

Your 2 hour tour begins with 20 minutes of segway training and practice (similar to time one used to spend bonding with a new horse). Once you are comfortably situated in the saddle, your leader equips you with a feather weight-listening device so you don’t miss a drop of history or instructions on your journey. And a journey it is! You will effortlessly glide over the footsteps of the founding fathers. Highlights include:

  • The Maryland State House
  • Hammond-Harwood House
  • Paca House & Gardens
  • The Brice House
  • Upton-Scott House
  • Jonas Green House
  • St. John’s College
The Segway is the first self-balancing, electric-powered transportation device. This technology, termed "dynamic stabilization," is the essence of the Segway. Gyroscopes and tilt sensors monitor a rider's center of gravity at about 100 times a second. When a rider leans slightly forward, the Segway moves forward; when the rider leans slightly back, the Segway moves backward.

Capital City Colonials can get you rolling!

What Is Not Included?
