I Love Annapolis Food Tours

Everything about the tour was great. Susan did a good job of relating the history of the places we visited. We got a variety of food and drinks and it was all good. It was definitely enough to be considered a full lunch. The two homes that we visited added a very nice personal touch.

Nice way to spend a few hours

There are a lot of historic buildings and locations in Annapolis that I was not aware of. if I were to walk the city on my own, I would have seen these places, but would not have gotten the depth of understanding nor richness of experience provided by the tour guide. The tour guide was knowledgeable and punctual and we found the tour was worth the admission price.

The guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the History of Annapolis. She made the events and the people who lived long ago in Annapolis become real with her wonderful and unique ability of story telling. My daughter and I had a wonderful time during the excursion. I will recommend this walking tour to everyone. Thanks.

Carolyn was a wonderful tour guide, very knowledgeable about the history of Annapolis and colonial times. She engaged the group and shared interesting little known facts. She didn't rush us through but kept a good pace. We had a great time, we've already recommended it!

This was our first trip to Annapolis. What a wonderful way to start the trip! We learned a little history, had some yummy local food, refreshing drinks, and a knowledgable and fun leader, Susan. Despite the heat, this was not an overwhelming walk. I would recommend it for anyone, any age or ability.

The tour was very enjoyable...exceeded my expectations. The walk was manageable with stops scheduled appropriately. Susan kept the group engaged with good information and "toasts" along the way. I especially liked having my own ear set which made me not panic about being close enough to hear her. The food selections were unique and tasty. I would definitly recommend this tour to anyone planning a trip to Annapolis.

Three Couples had a GREAT Time
Sat, Jun 26, 10   11:00 AM jeromewatson Male 60-69 Local Group of Friends
Our Party: Two couples were from PA and we were from northern Virginia vic Quantico. Although Annapolis is obviously very close, we had never been there before. I think the 'value' of this activity was that it appealed to women (food and restaurants) and men (history and bar-hopping) alike. This walking tour and orientation to the city permitted a landscape of later choices for supper that evening and lunch the following day. Susanne, our guide and host, was a GREAT Communicator and her interaction with our group put everyone at ease. The individual headset receivers we were issued at the beginning of the tour permitted everyone to hear her jokes and historical comments at any time or place during the tour. A GOOD Time was had by ONE and ALL. v/r Jerry Watson

Fascinating Tour

Even though I have lived here for nine months, I found the tour historically fascinating. It made me want to get involved in the volunteer effort of the community. The food was fabulous and much more than I had imagined. My guests from Texas thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour.

Highlight of our visit!

The Food and History tour in Annapolis is informative, fun and delicious! From our initial warm greeting to full-bellied farewells, Susan led us through historic sites (with culinary delights) professionally, yet in a manner that made her seem an immediate friend. We enjoyed humor, toasts, and an "off the beaten path" sense that made this tour exceptional. Come hungry in comfortable walking shoes!
