I enjoyed my tour immensely. Scout William has a thorough knowledge of the city's history and shared many amusing and educational stories. It was a great choice to introduce me to the city, while my husband was at a conference. |

The guide was funny, well-informed, attentive to our interests, friendly with an amazing number of Annapolis locals (who greeted her on the streets), and clever. She wanted us to have fun, enjoy the food, and also learn to appreciate the stories and traditions in Annapolis. It was wonderful! |

We really enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot of fun facts on this delightful walking tour. The food was stellar at all of the stops with lots of friendly people to greet us. We plan to do this one again! |

We really enjoyed our tour. Our guide Marcos made the tour a lot of fun, and the tour did a great job of blending the history of charming Annapolis with delicious food. This tour is much better than other food tours I have experienced. The tour is relatively compact, so we spent most our time in restaurants and sites of interest instead of walking from site to site. The wireless ear phone system provided also made it easy to hear our guide despite entering some crowded sites and allowed us to pay attention to him without needing to crowd around him to hear. We ended the tour right across the street from where we started and with just enough food in our bellies (not too full but not hungry either). Kudos to the tour organizers for providing us a bottle of water which kept us cool and hydrated on the warm day of the tour. |

This past Sunday I was taken back in time to the Colonial Era on the Annapolis History and Food Walking Tour. Guided by a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable re-enactor. His passion for history of this particular period of this beautiful city was contagious and was well matched by the food that was offered by the different establishments. A historic stroll through this quaint city while eating some of the best offerings of the Bay compliment each other well. |

The tour leader was well prepared, organized, historically informative, entertaining and charming. Individual audio recievers made for easy listening regardless of street noise or distance from the tour leader. The frequent stops provided not only delicious food samples, but also afforded restful breakes in this 3 hour tour. The food samples really did substitute for lunch. This tour is a real bargain. I don't know how they can afford to do it at such a reasonable price! I feel I've come away with a lasting knowledge of the history of Annapolis. |

This was a birthday present for my history loving husband...with a food bonus.
We have a boat near annapolis...we just never get a chance to go there.
We are glad we took the time.
We greatly enjoyed Susan ..our guide.
She was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
The only thing we did not like were the ear pieces..the clips were not strong enough to keep the transmitter in your pocket...and the ear piece did not always work.
I would highly reccomend this tour!!
Great and worth the money! |

In spite of inclement weather, our guide was upbeat and knowledgeable about many historical periods, not just the Colonial period. We threw some odd questions his way and he answered them with good humor and an assurance borne of knowledge.
The food was wonderful, but it was the walk and the history that we really appreciated.
We would definately recommend this tour to anyone who loves food, walking or history . And who doesn't?
In fact we have already talked it up to friends in the Baltimore Area.
Thanks for a wonderful afternoon in Annapolis. |

We had a wide variety of ages on the tour. I was amazed the one tour guide was able to capture the attention of the entire group (including the kids!). It was a great tour and we plan to return for another tour soon. |

This tour was well worth the money. We could not have asked for a better tour guide! Our guide Carolyn was extremely knowledgable and entertaining at the same time. Our group had a mixed bag of people, from kids to older people and the tour catered to all. I highly recommend this tour to both visitors and locals of the Annapolis area. |

Our guide, Susan, was terrific. She was very knowledgable and fun to be with. Susan is a very patient person, which one has to be on these types of tours. We were extraordinarily fortunate that it was just the two of us rather than a group! The number two most wonderful part of this tour was that she provided headphones so that my husband, who is hard of hearing, could hear everything she was saying. It also meant that we could look around and still hear! It was a wonderful addition to any tour! We have been to many cities as tourists, gone on may food tours, and have enjoyed them all. This was especially nice because it was in our own backyard! We definitely will return to Annapolis and frequent some of the places we visited during our tour with Susan. We highly recommend both Susan and the tour. |

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and history walking tour. The food choices were all delicious, and the guide was quite knowledgeable. True history buffs might want to know that there is not an historical connection for all of the food choices and eating establishments. Yet all were great fun! I highly recommend this tour.

This was such a phenomenal way to spend an afternoon in the historic city of Annapolis. Our guide, Susan Denis was extremely versed in local historical interesting facts and added humor to her dialogue. We went to multiple and varied sites that she presented such unique facts on, that it was very surprising to me as I have been a local resident most of my life and taught school in this county for a quarter of a century ! At each stop we enjoyed some type of colonial snack or beverage-each more appetizing than the previous. The other tour participants were British and Scottish, and were most impressed with Susan's factual knowledge & enjoyable humorous comments. After each libation, she treated us to a colonial toast and the reason for it's use in historic Annapolis. The pace was leisurely and enjoyable on a lovely spring afternoon in our original capital city. Three cheers for Susan Denis and her portrayal, in her lovely colonial attire, of an 18th century lady. Her use of tiny speaker ear pieces was a great help while being in the city on a busy Sunday afternoon. I have recommended this to many people since taking it, and would gladly delight in taking it again ! |

Tour guides with a good sense of humor towards questions. Fun and fulfilling in that one is never without food or drink throughout the tour. If you like cool architecture and stories about the past and present, this is the right tour. They even gave us individual headsets so that they don't have to shout, we can listen to them at the volume we wish to hear them at, and there are so many cool things along the way one can lag behind for pictures and the like without missing the tour. |
