| My guide was so funny and well informed. What cracked me up more than the costume was how enthusiastic random people on the street were, waving and greeting him. | ||||||

| This history tour of Annapolis was very informative. I especially appreciated that the guide did not attempt to skimp on details, or shorten my trip once he realized that I would be the only participant in his tour. I think most guides would have been tempted to cut it short, and I appreciate that he conducted my tour as professionally as if there were a party of 10 not one! Additionally, the guide was obviously quite proud of the city and its remarkable history, this makes it doubly entertaining for those new to the city. | ||||||

| Our tour guide (young man- forget his name - he went to St. John's college) was excellent-the tour was just long enough and really helped us understand the importance and history of Annapolis. Thanks! | ||||||

| The tour provides an excellent introduction to Annapolis' historic district. Our guide, Marcus, was very knowledgeable and extremely personable. The tour length was just right: long enough to see and learn alot, but not too long where some (particularly children) might lose interest. | ||||||

Mildly fun but not worth the money

| The information on the tour was fun. The guide was very informative about the historical significance of almost every house we saw on the tour. The disappointing part was the food. You get maybe half a bite of food at each stop. It's not enough to even experience the place you stopped at. And I had to buy lunch afterward because I was still hungry. This tour would be better if it was more like $20 a person. It definitely is not worth the money. | ||||||

| I highly recommend the Annapolis Food and History Walking Tour. The tour gives visitors an excellent overview of the city's history and architecture with plenty of stops along the way for refreshment and samples of the local quisine. Our guide, Mistress Susan, was very personable and accomodating. | ||||||

| enjoyed tour; would have enjoyed it more if everyone had been wearing comfortable walking shoes; we were late arriving at many of the stops which caused mild confusion for the stop owners. | ||||||

| We were in Annapolis last weekend and on Saturday evening there was a monstrous storm which blew out the electricity in our hotel (thus no AC following a day with temps in the 90s). After a virtually sleepless night, no warm water for showers the next day, and an estimate of anywhere from 6-24 hours before power would be restored, we decided to check out and cut our visit short, leaving before we were scheduled for the tour. I called Capital City Colonials and explained our situation, I also noted we had our dog with us, who obviously could not be left alone in the car for three hours while we did this walking tour. We were refused a refund. The woman I spoke to offered to watch the dog while we were on the tour (not acceptable to us), suggested I come alone and let my husband sit with the dog somewhere inside, or that we come back to Annapolis (3+ hours from where we live) another weekend and reuse the tickets. Regardless of the fact that all of the options were really not possible, they wouldn't even consider a refund. It's not clear why because the woman I spoke to mentioned she had not given final tour numbers to any of the sites we were to visit, so they clearly weren't counting on us at that point. I understand fully that the Zerve form says no refunds will be given, but this is a fair warning to anyone out there - regardless of WHATEVER happens, you won't be getting your money back if you can't go on the tour, so make sure you don't mind parting with the $80 if for any reason you wind up not being able to attend. | ||||||

| The idea of incorporating food stops into a city tour brought a fresh and unique twist. I found the colonial guide to be entertaining along with great anecdotal tales. At the conclusion of the tour I was well fed and "full up". The pop overs near the end of the tour were outstanding! One should not miss this tour. | ||||||

| As someone who had never been to MD, the history learned was very much appreciated. Annapolis is a wonderful city and our tour guide, Gary, was very knowledgable. We were extremely happy we had gone on a "guided" tour. The price was right and we saw things we never would have found on our own. | ||||||

| Great mix of history, entertainment, and food. What more could you ask for and all at a reasonable price. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable of the various points of historic significance around town. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to have fun, learn more about Annapolis, and get some good eats too! We especially liked the small wireless headsets that enabled us to walk at our own pace while still being able to hear every word from our guide. Great time. | ||||||

| My husband and I went to Annapolis for a short, weekend trip to celebrate our anniversary, and we started our trip off with the Saturday morning Annapolis Food & History Tour. We had read great reviews of the tour, and we agree with all the good comments we read. We got a good mix of Annapolis history and tasty bites along the way. The tour moved quickly, and we heard just enough info about each area we visited. We felt like through the tour we got a good feel of Annapolis and it's eats. The food was tasty, and I'm super picky. It was a combination of historic or local-flavored food as well as yummy eats that are common elsewhere like Italian gelato. Susan, who we assume is the owner, was our tour guide, and she made the day quite fun. We did end up visiting at least one of the places we went to on the tour the next day, so it was great to be exposed to it. My husband and I are 30, and the rest of the group was a mix of ages, individuals, and couples. A great tour for any adult! | ||||||

| We had a great time on the walking tour through the historic district. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. His excitment for the history of Annapolis was obvious and was contagious to our group! I have lived in the area 15 years and had never experienced downtown Annapolis in such a fun and educational way. I absolutely recommend this tour to anyone! | ||||||

| This was an absolutely enjoyable tour. I've walked past these homes hundreds of times, and had little idea of their occupants' roles in the shaping of Annapolis and our country. Our guide was a wealth of information and a great story teller. | ||||||
