It did not take us very long to learn how to use the Segways and we were off for an exciting two hour adventure. We moved quickly through the city and our guide watched out for us as we went through the traffic lights. We would stop at various buildings and our guide would give us a bit of history about each place. The guides were very knowledgeable about this wonderful city. It was a wonderful experience to get an overview of places you would like to go back and visit!

I wish the "tour" part had been a little more detailed... I understand that the format of the tour is limited, but more details as to what we were visiting would have been nice. It was hard to hear what the guide was saying unless right up front.
All in all, a good time!!! |

Having lived in the city for a number of years until 1989 I was familiar with the institutions, most of the history and the itinerary. Joined the tour more for the experience of riding the Segway than for the subject matter. But the kids kept it lively and even taught me a few things. This 2 hour (plus) activity is not a breeze for old people but a whole lot of fun for those with more guts than brains. |

it was definitely a really fun way to get around the city. I'm not sure it's great as a tour because you are looking down a lot and not so much taking in the surroundings. however, the riding was so much fun i found myself wanting to hear less of the tour guides "tour" type stuff and just do more riding! |

This was a super activity. The company was very customer friendly and provided great instruction on the use of the segway. My wife and I felt very comfortable in operating the Segways after 10 minutes or less of "practice" time. This was a great way to see and hear about the Washington DC sites around the mall in 2 hours. |

I would do this tour again--it was great!! It was a great way to see the highlights of Washington DC and so much easier than walkng. The tour guides did an excellent job putting us at ease (we were a little nervous at first) and it was just a fun, awesome experience!!!!! The next time I am in any city that offers these tours I will definitely do it! We would have done the tour again if time permitted but we had to catch a flight. I recommend this tour to anyone! |

The main concern we had was with my wife...she was very fearful of riding on the segway. The personnel at Capital Segway spent time with her to get her used to the equipment and, when we went over to the park across the street, she became much more confident. By the end of the tour she was hoping that it could go on longer. In short, we had a blast and would highly recommend Capital Segway Tours to anyone who wants a fun way to tour Washington and have the time of their life. |

We are avid fans of segway tours and have been on this one last year.
Last experience was outstanding.
This time bitterly diappointing. Our guides were polite but unknowledgeable and unenthusiastic. Being nice just for the tips. I got the feeling they couldn't wait to
get the tour done.
I would not recommend this tour to anyone. Will go with a different segway company
as we will definitely be back to the area. |

Dear sir/madam,
My friend Chris and I had a wonderful time on the tour. We had two guides: Noah and some other guy (sorry btw!). Noah was very easy going and informative. It was impressive that the two worked together to make sure we were comfortable (e.g. one waiting/guiding at a curb to ensure that things went smooth). The other guy was very nice but didnt deliver his jokes very well. I could tell that he was trying hard but I think it felt "forced" and somehow subtracted something from the experience. Another thing is I wish we could have somehow seen the Lincoln Memorial (or maybe the tidal basin with the famous not-in-bloom cherry blossoms?). It seemed a little weird that it wasn't included.
Finally, I wish there was a discount for groups. I would like to book the tour for my parents and brother when they come out to visit but $70 pp seems borderline expensive. It ALMOST makes be consider just looking into rentals as an alternative to dropping $300 in two hours.
Thank you for providing such a fabulous experience!
Sincerely,
Sarah
