See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

The tour was great; lots of fun facts about the city. Tour guides were informative and generously offered to take many pictures at various locations. We all enjoyed it very much!

Good way to see alot, quickly. Tyler was our guide; did a great job. Two hours standing on the segways is plenty -- feet are tired.

My adult son and I visited DC during Easter week and one of the highlights was an afternoon tour with Capital Segway. The others who had booked the same time did not show up, so we had a personal tour of the DC National Mall and White House with Matt, our guide. He was wonderful...very helpful, knowledgeable, fun, and had been a Segway guide for several years...really knew his stuff. The Segways are easy to get used to and SO much fun to ride! However, your feet and legs will be tired when you get through because you're using lots of little muscles that don't get used a lot. My son and I agreed that the coolest part of the tour was riding up the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue...what a rush! The best time to book a tour might be your first day of vacation in DC...it will give you a good overview of the National Mall area, the museums and the memorials. Then, you can go back and see them in detail. We had a blast and if ever we're in DC again, will take another spin on those Capital Segways!

My group and I were in town for a company conference. With much reluctance we scheduled this tour at the behest of one of our members who would not take no for an answer....and we were all glad she didnt! Most if not all of us had never been to D.C., so we wanted to see as much as possible. Our tour guide was nothing short of excellent, he was so good that my wife has scheduled a segway tour in Chicago when she visits her sister for graduation next month, I think she will be slightly dissapointed, our tour guide made the experience! We werent just riding around old buildings, and the white house, we were remembering history, we were being re-educated, we were enjoying each other, we were able to let the "awe" of the history and sites sink in because of how knowledgable, and fun our guide was. In our field of the restaurant business we rarely get time to just relax and enjoy each other, this experience definately did that. Jimmy our guide was great, we will never forget this experience thanks to him.

This segway tour was great! It was the best I have ever been on. The tour guides were nice, friendly, and helpful. They helped us learn how to use the segways before we went on the tour. Each customer was given a radio and headset to use while riding. We could hear the tour information, as well as directions about where to go. I would HIGHLY recommend this company!

The tour was great, great sites, tour guide and overall fun time

This was our 2nd visit to Capital Segway, and our first time to bring friends along. We had a great time! The tour guide was laid-back, very informative and fun. Plenty of time to play on the Segway, and a great intro to the Mall area for our friends who had never been to DC. Highly recommend this as a great intro to the town.
