Best way to see Washington D.C.

If you've never been on a segway before, you should do this. It is a weather dependent event however, so don't go if it's raining or windy or cold. We loved it. And don't be afraid of the Segway, it's as easy as walking. Anyone can do it.

The Segway tour of Washington DC was one of our favorite outings. It took no time in getting comfortable on the segway and Noah as our guide was very informative. Lots of fun!

The tour itself and the Segway machine are both rememberable. Noah surprised us w/his knowledge of Washington history. Being born and raised in DC, I know a few things about our nations capital, but Noah hit me w/some cool fun facts that I had never heard before. I want to personally thank him for the attention that he gave our generously sized group. He even made the temperature bearable(!!), and held my son's attention (which is no easy feat!). Thank you once again Noah, I've already recommended you twice as a tour guide. S.M.

We really enjoyed the segway tour. Both and tour and the segway experience were great. The only downer was the cold weather, which you have no control over. Would highly recommend to friends.

We loved the Segway Tour. Both fun and a wonderful way to get an overview of the City. Great Tour Guides. I can't wait to do it again. Joy

A TON OF FUN BUT NOT MUCH INFORMATION

We had a blast on the Segways! The tour guides were patient and did a great job training us. The tour was very nice, not as extensive as we would have liked because the Park Service limits the areas that Segways are permitted (we didn't see the Jefferson Memorial , Lincoln Memorial, Tidal Basin, etc), and while some basic facts were provided, it wasn't an informational tour. The focus and strength of the tour is the Segways, which were a so much fun and so easy to use. One tip: dress appropriately, the wind while riding can be very chilly, and bring gloves.

Unique way to see DC and experience a Segway

Seeing DC requires a lot of walking. The Segway is an ideal vehicle to use to get around this environment. Unfortunately the Park Service does not allow it on most of the National Mall, which is where the most significant amount of walking is found (except for mobility-impaired individuals). Our tour group consisted of people from 16 to 70-ish. Within 5 minutes everyone was competent on the Segway and safely intermingling with pedestrians. The tour isn't the informational tour you would expect from a tour bus. Afterall, everyone is spread out along the sidewalk/street. There are occasional stops for a few notable quips and quotes. Several major sites are visited, but it's mostly a Segway blast from the White House to the Capitol and back. Good safe fun was had by all. Well worth the money and time. You'll want to buy a Segway by the end of it (or at least hope someone gives you one).

Grandparents are "cool"

We took 3 grandchildren who are graduating from high school to visit the area for 5 days. They were really impressed that we did this. The seques are easy for all ages. Everyone loved the lights on the Mall after dark but it was a little bit chilly.
