| We travel frequently both in the states and abroad and I noticed a couple of things about this tour I want to share. Zevre did not have good directions and there were no directions I could use on the Segway website. I was told to call when I got into DC to get local directions from the Segway tour staff... This did not work, the man was very put out and did not know the City or how to help. At the end we were in front of the store and even at that point he could not tell us where the parking garage was after I gave him our location. He said he was coming out of the store to see our car.... turns out the garage was in sight - only 100 yrds away.
I finally asked to sign my release since no one at the store asked for a ticket of any kind, or took any ID or had anything to do with us except showing the safety film and how to use the equipment. Once we were on our way I did not trust the way we were "crossed" in traffic and it was a potential accident waiting to happen.
The staff seemed bored and disorganized. They performed their duties by rote. We would have liked more information about the sites where the tour stopped. They would start their "talk " before the group reassembled and take off without giving any preview information. The staff shared their difficulties with the DC and Park Police in terms of where and when we are permitted by law to drive the Segway vehicles so it sounded like we were "on the edge of the law'. I would assume that the Segway tour company ensured that proper legal routes were used and that all was within the DC and Park traffic laws.
The guides finished our tour early and had us ride around on an off-mall cement plaza for the last 25 minutes when we could have been at one of the sights we came to see during this time
I suggest these details be cleaned up. Even with these issues the equipment is fun and we would do it again. |

| The Segway Tour was a birthday gift to my husband. We all (4) quickly learned to use the segway. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and experience on the segway. One word for it: FUN
I would do it again, just for the fun. |

| My 19 year old daughter was dying to do this when we saw the riders around the Mall. I was a little scared, as I am pretty clumsy. But I decided to give it a try and I am very glad I did! It was not hard at all, and was lots of fun. I think you could become addicted to riding these things pretty easily! If I can do it, anyone can! I know I saw a few complaints that not enough history was given on the tour, but this tour is more about riding the Segways in a beautiful setting than learning history. I have told everyone if they get the chance to take this tour, DO IT! |

| What a great way to tour the major monuments and buildings around the Mall, in a fraction of the time it takes to walk, enjoying the oohs and aahs of mere pedestrians sweating in the heat as you create your own breeze, gliding by effortlessly on your Segway as though you had always known how to ride one.
Really folks, it's easy, and the tour guides at Capitol Segway are very attentive to your needs, and very well informed, and entertaining, about the sights along the tour.
While the tour buses park at the bottom of Capitol Hill, and their passengers climb up several flights of stairs to the fountain at the base of the Captiol, you just glide up the sidewalk in a matter of seconds, and zip around the fountain area taking pictures, enjoying the view across the reflecting pool toward the Washington Monument. If you're really lucky, like we were, we saw Marine One, the President's helicopter, cross between us and the Monument, for a landing at the White House.
Don't pass up an opportunity to try this very personalized type of tour, while you enjoy coasting along on a powerful Segway that moves merely by "thinking" about moving. |

| Segways are easy to ride, safe and more fun than anything else on wheels. The tour is just long enough to be interesting without becoming tiring. The tour guide is friendly, informative and very helpful for those few riders who may be a bit unsure of themselves in the beginning. There is nothing not to love about touring the DC sites on a Segway. My wife and daughter, who claim that the gene for coordination is missing in their family, were riding like pros in a couple of minutes. We all felt like kids again. |

| What great fun! We arrived at the location, viewed a video, and then had training within the facility. Then we ventured out to a park across the street to get the true feel of riding the Segway. Then off we went with the guides to see the city. They were excellent in their training, leadership and knowledge of the local sites. We will do this again! |
