Wonderful and fun time

My husband and I had such a great time. It was a very information tour and you didn't half to walk miles to see everything we saw. I would recommend this to anyone who visits Washington DC.

I took my nephew on a trip to Washington, DC to celebrate his 16th birthday. This activity really helped to firm up the celebration because you must be at least 16 to ride the segways, just perfect. I turned 60 earlier this year and I can tell you that we both thoroughly enjoyed riding the segways and the very informative tour provided by our great guides. They were full of the "regular" information guides provide, but it was the additional fun things that made me laugh and thoroughly enjoy while I was learning about our great capital. Go of it! You will have a great time.

Great fun but the receiver played up

I really enjoyed the segway experience and it is a great way to see the sites in an around the National Mall. I was surprised how quickly I learnt to use the segway and what great fun it was to ride. By the end of the hour or two it was very intuitive and I virtually forgot I was riding it. The sites in the mall and whitehouse were excellent of course the only shame was we did not get to the Lincoln Memorial. Tyler was very good at shepherding his "flock", "clutch" "gaggle" (what do you call a group of feldgling segway riders?) along and across the streets and paths. My only and significant disappointment was that my receiver kept cutting out. Tyler did have spare batteries and an earpiece but the receiver unit was the problem and a spare one of those would be handy for guides to carry instread of worrying about batteries etc. However it did work for 90% of the tour. Overall an excellent tourist experience. Mark Brisbane, Australia

Wonderful machines, none of them ran out of power. Each had an attached bag for our water, cameras, etc. The headsets made it possible for everyone to hear the guide speak as we rolled along. This was our 2nd Segway adventure and it will not be our last. It is a wonderful way to see and learn about a city. We highly recommend this trip.

Our tour leader was an excellent trainer. I thought this was just about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on. They were organized prepared the equipment was in good shape altogether satisfactory
