| If you're a history buff, this is NOT the tour for you. But if you've seen segways on the street and wondered how they worked, this is a practical and fun way to tool around Washington DC and see the major sites on the National Mall. The guide was knowledgable and stopped for the best photo ops. |

| This was an awesome time for my 16 year-old son and I. Having never been to DC, we got a good overview of where the city's highlights are, so we have some bearings when we go back to do a more in-depth visit of the city. Our tour guide, Mary Ann, was enthusiastic and very informed about the local history. The segways were in great shape and easy to operate. We highly recommend this adventure for anyone!! |

| We took the evening tour. MaryAnn was our tour guide and she was great! We had one member of our group who was kinda timid and was scared of falling off the Segway but MaryAnn was a good teacher of how to use the equipment.
The tour was great at night everything was lit up, and the crowds on the sidewalks were thinned out.
We had a great time and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. |

| It was great! Even though you may look like a bunch of idiots zooming around town on segways you have no idea how much fun it is till you do it. Tor guide was great and the weather was perfect and those machines are incredible. You WILL WANT ONE!!!! |

| We had family in town from Texas to run the Marine Corp Marathon. The marathoners wanted to tour the city, but we knew they would be too tired and sore to walk so we booked the Segway tour. Our group included folks from 21 to 55 years old and we all had a terrific time!!!
It did not take long at all to learn how to ride the Segways safely, so we spent the vast majority of our time zooming around D.C.. Even our least athletic person picked it up in no time. The machines and helmets were in good condition. Our tour guide knew many fun facts about the places we stopped and chose a route that enabled us to play on the Segways. All the staff we met were super nice, patient, and capeable.
You have to try this!! |

| great time - went with my 70 yeard old parents so was naturally worried - impressed with the safety precautions and then we were off and zooming around DC. It was great. Highly recommended - and already planning another outing.
Tour guides were great too! Zipping around on the segway is the best fun we had in a long time! |

| The Segway is a fantastic invention, but it is a potentially dangerous vehicle to the rider and obstacles.
After ten minutes you can control the vehicle with subtle leaning and it feels intuitive. But when you are with novices someone can panic and the Segway misinterprets your intentions and goes.....instead of stopping.
You should feel comfortable with stopping and turning before going out on the road. The most dangerous times are when you are with a group and some members are just learning, or after an hour on the Segway when drivers are comfortable and start to push the limits.
Pedestrians don't realize that the drivers are novices and they don't show any caution when being approached by a Segway.
I always felt in complete control, but other members of the group had some falls.
It is important for the instructor to let you practice mounting and dismounting before you leave the store. You should get a feel for the Segway's movement tendencies when you are not holding it... it responds to shifts in the platform orientation so if you get off and don't support the handle it will go forward.
I loved the experience, but I see the potential for accidents.
The tour of DC is great. |

| While getting on the segway was fun and the spin around D.C. quite interesting, there was little in the way of actual explanation of sites and their significance. Tour guide (at end of the day) seemed tired and bored. |
