We had great fun on our tour and would recommend it to anyone. The Segways are not hard to learn to ride (even for me, who seems to be mechanically challenged!!). We got to see things we probably would not have walked to and the tour guide gave us helpful information on things we should see while we were in D.C. Recommend making it the beginning of your stay so you know what you want to go back to see.

The Capital Segway tour was terrific. The entire staff was very helpful and Scot, our tour guide, was wonderful. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting an overview of the Washington sights!

The best way of sightseeing a big city.

Nice introduction to the segway. Found it very easy to manouver the segway. The clear advantage with this kind of sightseeing is that you can cover a larger area and go longer distances compared to walking. Very intimate with the guide and only 7 on the tour. Hereby my best recommendations! Hanne, Denmark.

Everything about the Capital Segway tour of DC was amazing. I recommend the twilight tour (7-9pm) because it's not as hot as during the day and everything looks great all lit up at night. Our guides were knowledgeable and funny at the same time. Riding a Segway is not as difficult as it looks, and you have ample time to practice in the park across the street from the Tour HQ. We even got to be part of the experience when people started taking photos of our tour, so who knows you could become famous! I recommend this tour for anyone, even if you've already done the daytime tour...it is an absolute blast!!

Almost like snowboarding

The learning curve can be difficult and not every thing is intuitive to begin with, but after awhile you get the hang of if and it becomes considerably easier. There is always the intimidation of the traffic to deal with and the occasional drunken park denizen who throws his way in your path, but other wise it is worth every penny. It lead me to me to buy a new I2 from them the next day. Carpe Diem!
