See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

the absolute best way to see DC, We had more fun and learned more about Washington DC in 2 hours than I ever thought possible.

This was not only an extremely fun thing to do, especially on such a gorgeous day but the tour guide was excellent too. The tour was far from your typical tour as it was not drawn out or boring. The tour guide did a great job of keeping the tour light-spirited and to the point; all information was given and it was just the right amount of information. I would definately do this again! Such a great time!

We were in Washington for a getaway weekend, and Saturday we did the Segway tour. In the past we've done bus, trolley, and walking tours, and this was absolutely the best tour we've ever done! The Segway was VERY easy to learn, much intuitive than I expected. It only took about 5-10 minutes of practice till we felt very comfortable on the Segway. Washington is the perfect city for the Segway, too, with so many areas closed to automobile traffic, and so many wide, smooth sidewalks. I highly recommend the tour, and have told all my friends and family about it.

Riding a Segway is a blast and our guide, Chris, gave us an excellent tour with many stories and anecdotes. My husband used to work in DC and even he was impressed with the amount of information Chris imparted to us. This was our second visit -- we'd had a wonderful experience the first time and wanted to share it with family members who were in town for graduation. Taking a Segway tour with Capital Segway is a lot of fun and an excellent way to see some of the sites and get some history, all at the same time. We highly recommend it!

I took my mom on this tour for Mother's Day and both of us had an exceptionally good time. The Segways were easy to ride and the instruction great. The tour itself was wonderful. Larry, our tour guide was personable and knowledgeable and did an excellent job of taking us around DC. As a local, I've seen it many times, but you get "up close and personal" with the segways and cover an amazing amount of the city in 2 hours. I would enthusiastically recommend this for young and older (my mom is 70) alike!

Great fun, easy to use, the best $65 per person spend on entertainment in DC. About a five mile ride and you see all the sights in two hours, we even thought about doing the trip again the next day. I would recommend the early tours, as the DC sun does get hot, we started at 9am and the climate was just right. Karen our guide was great, very helpful and knows her stuff. The Segway is soooo much fun to ride and your guide, Arron, was fantastic. Now i have many jealous friends. The reaction from the people on the street is incredible. We decided you would have to strip of your clothes and run naked thru the streets to garner any more attention.

Drew and Larry were great tour guides! This was my first trip to DC and I learned a lot from this tour. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting DC!!
