See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

This was a great experience. The Segways were easy to ride - all nervousness disappeared within the first few minutes on them. Our guide, Scott, was friendly and funny. It didn't hurt that we had beautiful weather that day. It was a new way to see the sights and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

This tour combines street level touring of the important sites and locations around DC with lots of little known information (like the building that houses the Secret Service). The guides are good and very knowledgeable. But the most fun is on the Segways. Despite how difficult they may look, you learn to ride them in minutes. It is not like anything I have done, but once you get going, its almost like skiing. Once the group has boarded their Segways, its out the door and travelling down sidewalks, streets, anywhere they have been approved. I wish my kids had been with me. Hugely fun, don't miss it.

Segway tours are great. We saw more in 2 hrs than we could see walking in 2 days

This was a fantastic tour. We watched a safety video, went through a short training session, then climbed aboard our Segways. Our guides worked with us in the store, ensuring we were able to operate our new toys. A quick trip across the street to the park and we all had about 10 minutes to become familiar with this new form of transportation. We had 2 guides, one leading and narrating the tour via wireless audio, and one to bring up the rear helping those with first time jitters (like my wife). We saw more of the city on the Segways than we have seen on buses or on foot. You spend most of the time on the Segways, but do stop at a few monuments and the White House. This is primarily a tour to have fun on the Segway, so use the opportunity to learn where everything is located, then go back later for a detailed tour. The whole tour took 2 hours, but went by fast. Everyone survived the tour and everyone had a great time. My wife and I booked an evening tour the next day we had so much fun. Another nice feature is you can go as fast as a Segway can (about 12 mph), but if you are not comfortable going that fast, you don't have to. Even the slowpokes caught up with the rest of the group at traffic crossings. If you are considering this tour, I recommend you book it. You will NOT be sorry!

Best Segway tour I have been on yet. Tour guides can either make or break a tour, and these guys made this tour!

We had so much fun doing this. I have been visiting my Aunt in DC since I was a kid and I don't think we have done anything down here that has been this much fun. Our guide was informative, comical, and led us through the city with ease. I highly recommend it to anyone and I am definitely going to do more segway tours everywhere else I visit.

I enjoyed zerve...easy to use, and the restaurant had the reservation almost instanly

My wife and I took the Segway tour to get an overview of the mall and decide what we wanted to go back and see in more detail. It was great! The guide (Drew) was great and the Segways were very fun. Definitely a highlight of the trip!
