Great fun and easy to learn to operate the Segway. The guide was very friendly and knowledgable. A great way to easily get around the Capitol area and determine what you want to visit in more detail. |

The twilight tour was awesome and afforded the opportunity to see areas you can't easily get to on foot. Capitol plaza above the visitor center lit at night; monuments as the sun set, and fun tour guides young Drew and younger Drew. This is an activity for all ages (ages 16 to 68 in our family) and an activity to do regardless of whether you have lived in DC for years, visited dozens of times, or are a 1st time visitor. Best value of our entire Cherry Blossom long weekend. |

My wife, son (age 16), and I took our first Segway tour with Capital Segway during the week of the Cherry Blossom Festival. Our guide, Drew, was very knowledgeable of the DC historic sites and was very attentive to the safety of the group. The radio system used allowed all of us to hear the guide's remarks without having to stay right next to him. While we were initially somewhat intimidated by the concept of a Segway, it only took a couple of minutes for all three of us to become completely comfortable with "driving" one. Highly recommended as novel means to tour the downtown DC area when you have a limited amount of time. |

they were very professional. i signed on with my 16 yr old daughter. I was not comfortable on the segway in the store so it was decided to refund my money but let my daughter go alone with the tour group as she was by far very comfortable. She absolutley loved it and claimed it was the best thing she did on her spring break as we were traveling and visitng dc colleges in theh area. We will be sure to return and have her go again. I wish i could have done it but with my poor balance and motor skills i can see that i probably could not have handled the trip. |

Took the segway tor on or first day. It was great! Scott was very informative and made the tor fn. The segways are so easy, we'd love to own one. I am here on business for a year and plan to take all my out of town guest on this tour. |

We had some confusion when we arrived off Metro at McPherson Square because we took the wrong street exit and walked two blocks rather than just across street, as directions stated. But the trainer was excellent and developed confidence in us to use Segways very quickly.
Segways = AWESOME!!
Easy to become adept and had great fun in the small park.
Guide was knowledgeable and very careful to keep tour group safe. Also was aware of others and taught us to respect pedestrians on sidewalk and within the Smithsonian area.
Slight Disappointment - I had hoped for monument tour that took us up to Washington Monument, then to Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials, but we ended up going by Smithsonians. My daughter and I had already been around the Smithsonians
However, the explanation about Cherry Blossom crowd making Segway travel horrible was satisfactory. I much preferred a mostly unfettered travel with the Segways rather than being caught up in monstrous tour crowds.
Next time I do this tour, it will be outside of Cherry Blossoms when, maybe, I can do the monuments. It seems to me that Segways are a bit too regulated where they can go and not go.
Bike tours seem to have more freedom, which makes less sense.
Still, I SO wanted to stay on my Segway for longer than two hours. I was completely sold on the transport system. LOVED THEM. |

Incredible experience, and Scott made the tour fun and humorous. The day was clear and warm, and the Segway is so easy to learn. Please keep this going, as I will recommend this to others coming out. |

The DC Segue tour provided just the right mix of history, scenery, and fun. The guide proved knowledgeable and helpful. The Segue is a fun piece of technology and easy to master in only a few short minutes. The tour provided a unique way to see the city at ground level without the physical exertion required to walk several miles. The small radios provided by the tour, allowed us to clearly hear our guide regardless of our location within the tour. I highly recommend this affordable and fun tour. My wife and our 26 year old daughter had a blast. The Segue rocks! |
