BEST MONEY I SPENT WHILE IN DC

THIS WAS BY FAR THE BEST MONEY I SPENT ON THIS TRIP.....WE ALL ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT AND WILL DO IT AGAIN! I HAVE COLLEAGUES COMING TO DC IN MAY FOR AN NTI CONVENTION AND IVE ALREADY TOLD THEM THAT THEY HAVE TO DO THIS. AND TO ASK FOR SCOTT BROWN, THE BEST TOUR GUIDE (AND PHOTOGRAPHER) EVER. HAD A BLAST, LEARNED ALOT, AND THE KIDS (16 & 17) WERE READY TO DO IT AGAIN 15 MINUTES AFTER IT ENDED.....WHICH WAS MUCH TOO SOON. 2 HOURS FLEW BY. CANT RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH.

Fantastic Tour During Spring Break

My girlfriend and I chose to take this tour on our Spring Break trip to D.C. in March of 2010, and we had an absolutely great time on this tour. Our tour guide (Scott) was very informative, enthusiastic, and entertaining. The tour was a great chance to get around D.C., and my girlfriend and I found the training session to be very easy to understand and learning how to ride the Segway was very easy to pick up. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wishes to see the D.C. area without having to walk everywhere or who wish to see everything while being informed about its history. Given the opportunity, we would definitely take this tour again!

if you can ride a bike you can handle a segway everone should experience it my 17yo daughter loved it is a memerable experience i highly recommend

Great Experience

Even though I have been to the National Mall in DC a few times before, I ended up seeing a lot more during this tour. Apart from getting to know more history , I also got a great mental picture of where everything is located in that region. Hence after the tour, when we set out to take a closer look at the memorials and a few museums, I didn't get lost for a change. Our guide, Karen, was also great. She was very patient with my initial trepidation about handling a segway. And later on in the tour, she took us to some great spots in the area. One suggestion - I am huge fan of creating memories i.e. taking pictures for my family and friends to see. And even though every time I asked for a little time to do the above, our guide happily obliged. Still it was difficult to ask her to stop when one is on the segway in the middle of the roads.pavements and not always together, if we could stop and click a few. Your website clearly says that opportunities will be given to take pictures in front of all the stops. So it would be real nice if that is followed i.e. if we can be told when to take pictures. That way the communication is clear and it is great for everyone. It is a bit embarrassing to be asking the guide over and over at very obvious spots if we can stop to do so. Hope I am able to get my perspective across. Rest all was great. Would highly recommend it to everyone!

Fun way to see DC, new in town or not!

This was our second time on this tour, we enjoy it so much. Our guide, Scott, was both knowledgeable and entertaining, with enough experience to re-arrange our tour on the fly due to motorcade closures, etc., without missing a beat. I'd recommend it to anyone who has even the slightest bit of interest in learning to ride a Segway--it's easier than you'd think. And, though two in our group have lived in this area for some time, and toured most of the attractions more than once, we learned things we hadn't known before and thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Our tour guide (Drew) was extremely knowledeable and had great insights about Washington DC. He was also great ar watching and protecting us from any dangers (whether it was pedestrians wandering in our direction or cars that would be making a turn in our direction). Of course, even as a senior citizen, we truly enjoyed being on the Segways. They were totally fun. It truly was amazing how fast one became comfortable on such. We both agreed that this was the highlight of our week in Washington. Many many thanks.
