I have lived near DC my whole life, but I learned a lot of new things from the guide. It was a fast paced and fun-filled tour. Makes me want to own a Segway!

It was easy to do and lots of fun. Tourists we passed along the way took pictures of us, along with the monuments. It's going to be a must do whenever we have friends visit us in DC.

First - don't be afraid of the Segway! It's a great tool and vehicle for moving a person over a distance easily and quickly. You will master it within a few minutes. Second - I can't think of a faster way to experience DC up close and personal in such a short time. We went several miles from the Lincoln Memorial to the Capital Building and beyond. Walking works too but the Segway allows for compressed travel times as long as you don't need to enter inside an attraction. Give it a shot and I'm sure you'll be hooked!

I went to school in DC for many years, but this experience was one of the best times I've had in the city. Fun way to learn a lot about the area, and the Segway's were awesome! Highly recommended activity!

My 16 yr old daughter and I took this tour at the end of a week long visit to DC. We loved everything about DC, however this Segway tour MADE our trip worthwhile! We had a phenomenal tour guide, Max, who was extremely knowledgable about all the buildings, monuments, and general history of the city. The segways are super easy to ride and is the perfect way to see a lot of sights in a fraction of the time it would take to walk. We even got to see Obama in a motorcade, driving into the White House!! This was a complete blast and I would take the tour many times over!

Forget the slow, endless walking tours, the Segway tours are the way to go. I took a group of three for a two hour tour and we all had a blast! The women in the group were a little nervous at first, but within 10 minutes thy were zipping around like they'd been born on a Segway. The route is excellent, you cover all the main monuments and memorials. The Guide staff was very informative, helpful (w/ taking pictures), and entertaining. I would insist that all my friends visiting DC do the Segway tour offered through Capital Segway.

great tour (even on a cold rainy day)

We were eager for our tour, but when we woke up that morning, it was cold (mid thirties) with a constant drizzle/mist. Despite getting soaked and being frozen, our tour was very enjoyable. DC was empty so it was really easy to navigate the sidewalks and streets. We saw everything we wanted to and heard a lot of great information. The segways were easy to use. My mom who hates any kind of ride at an amusement park LOVED it and said she felt uncomfortable for only 5 seconds. A great way to see a lot in DC!!!

Much fun, easy to learn to use the machine; the teens had a great time, and the tour guide was knowledgable, and took great care to make sure we were all comfortable with the machines and knew exactly where we were headed. Highly recommended.
