Segway provides a great way to see a lot of Washinton D.C. in just a few hours. The tour guide gives you a lot of information that you would not get by touring along. The Segway is a fun transportation device that exceeds expectations. Save your legs - Segway!

Initially the concept of the segway was intimidating, but the short safety video and some practice time in the shop and at the park was surprisingly enough to get our group on our way! ...and our guide Scott was great, lots of patience and confidence in us! I was also impressed that we all wore the headsets that allowed us to clearly hear all the facts about the buildings and the areas along the way. I would recommend this tour to anyone and I will specifically look for the same type of tour in any city I visit.

The seway tour was an outstanding way to see the city. The segway is fun to ride, very instinctual and within minites we we having a great time.

We did 2 segway tours of Washington DC during our vacation week. Unfortunately, we found this tour to be less than enjoyable. Our tour guide seemed more concerned about herself...consistently drove well out in front of tour members, left various participants stranded at intersections (4 times during our tour), recited the tour as though reading from a book. At one point, a participant of the tour had a problem...if not for several other members of the group waiting well back of the guide, she would have been completely lost as the guide had traveled approximately 6 blocks ahead and made several turns without realizing the problem. There were issues with the microphones provided ~ of my wife and I, my battery died and her complete unit was replaced. Unfortunately, it was over 20 minutes before we could get the attention of our "GUIDE' in order to communicate our problem!! In all, the tour wasn't very interactive or friendly. I found the constant talking into my earpiece to be distracting when driving in traffic. Further, much of the tour was on pedestrian walkways...navigating around walkers was a challenge but our guide didn't seem to mind...or care...if we fell behind. There are other tours...I'd recommend City Segway Tours in Washington DC.

The Segway is a little scary at first but after you get to park and practice it is really easy! We are in our 50's and we loved this activity! I would suggest you take the Segway Tour the very first thing when you get to D.C. that way you will be familiar with the sites. I wish I could have taken the "Lost Symbols Tour" they are going to offer. The tour guide was great! I think all ages will love this tour!! Don't miss it!

This was a really fun tour. Our tour guide was really knowledgeable about DC, the earphones were great to listen to him while on the Segs. We had a blast and plan to come back for another tour. This was recommended by my daughter who lives in DC and we were not disappointed. All of us had been to DC many times so this was a new adventure for this. No mechanical problems, beautiful weather...just awesome!

Loved the tour, our guide was enthusiastic, funny and informative. Washington DC at night is beautiful, there was less traffic (cars and pedestrian) than during the daytime. I loved the fact that our speed was NOT limited. We saw the "other company" tour group as we zoomed by, and it looked crowded. The next day, we saw the "other company's" group practicing in an alley! Our tour was the better of the tours by a mile. Two hours was sufficient time to see the city and have fun on our segways. I would highly recommend this tour! Fun! Thank you!

My husband and I did this two hour tour thru Wash DC, and had the best time. We had a terrific tour guide (Karen) who was so informative. Riding the segway was easier than I thought it would be...so much fun. I would recommend this way of seeing the DC area to everyone. Really easy on the feet to just ride along the streets and take everything in.

We had a Miata car club with 3 couples visiting us from Texas. I arranged this tour and they said it was the highlight of their trip. Now we know how to wow our guests!!! Thanks for a great Adventure.... Sandi Fiorini
