| Adam was our guide and if I had not received this e-mail request I would have e-mailed anyway when we got home because it was such a memorable experience.
First, Adam gave each of us terrific confidence right off and made the whole thing fun. He was very cognicant of where the shade was, sharing the city history with us, I could go on and on but he was as enjoyable as the segway experience itself which we are still talking about 4 days later.
Thank you for a wonderful time!

Our guides (we called them wranglers!) took such care with all of us. The training session was professional and very helpful. Once we got out onto the streets, they shepherded us across intersections very effectively; I never once felt insecure about facing traffic. The guides presented informed anecdotes at each sight and interacted with all in the group. This is a brilliant endeavor - everyone wins. Kudos to Capital Segway!

Segways are easy to ride, safe and more fun than anything else on wheels. The tour is just long enough to be interesting without becoming tiring. The tour guide is friendly, informative and very helpful for those few riders who may be a bit unsure of themselves in the beginning. There is nothing not to love about touring the DC sites on a Segway. My wife and daughter, who claim that the gene for coordination is missing in their family, were riding like pros in a couple of minutes. We all felt like kids again.

What great fun! We arrived at the location, viewed a video, and then had training within the facility. Then we ventured out to a park across the street to get the true feel of riding the Segway. Then off we went with the guides to see the city. They were excellent in their training, leadership and knowledge of the local sites. We will do this again!

See Washington, D.C., even with a "bum" knee!

I came to Washington for a conference and had decided that all I was going to see was the conference since I had banged up my knee before arriving in D.C. I was pretty timid with all the standard excuses--"bum knee", "not an athlete", "old enough to be everybody's mother". But Noah and Will got me up on a Segway, made sure I was comfortable with the machine, and carefully guided me around. It was great fun for my daughter and me to twirl around the city together! I'll definitely Segway again.

As we were shown how to manuever the Segway, I thought, I'll never be able to do this. But it was much easier to control than it looked, and especially because I used to ski, it was easy to flex my knees and use my feet to control direction and speed. Really fun and although 2 hours of standing on the Segway was a long time, it's easy to step off and take a break whenever necessary. I loved it and recommend it highly. My 14-year-old grandson enjoyed it as much as I did and learned how to use it quickly.

This is a wonderful way to see a lot of the city in a short amount of time. Walking that far would take at least half a day, and riding a tour bus is not as much fun. The Segway is the star of the tour. Most people have not had the opportunity to ride one, and it is an exhilarating experience! Would recommend this to anyone who is agile. The tour guides were young, enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

All of us in our group loved the Segways, but we were not impressed with the guides. One never made eye contact (duh, you're dealing with the public), and neither had much enthusiasm for presenting historical data, or seemed to know anything that we hadn't already learned elsewhere. I think the tour could have been of the airport or some other venue and we would have still loved it because of the magic machines, but it would have been nice if the guides acted as if they cared. And for god's sake, isn't charging $2 for bottled water a little petty?

Our two guides were very helpful and their suggestions on how to manage the Segway got us up and going in less than five minutes.
