The machine is a lot of fun and very easy to master. The tour itself is interesting and unusual (even for this Washingtonian, I learned a lot), and our tour guide Karen was fantastic! A real pleasure to spend two hours with. It's a very unusual way to spend a morning in the nation's capital, which I can heartily recommend.

Seeing DC on a Segway is very worthwhile and highly recommended. Tour leader was personable, enthusiastic and protected the safety of participants. The downside is that this particular leader was somewhat overly opinionated and did not distinguish between his personal preferences and those of others.. e.g., he recommended traditional art exhibits over modern because traditional seemed to be his preference. The content of the tour was quite basic with too few anecdotal references.

We really enjoyed our day in DC. Riding the Segway's added a great mix to our day of site seeing. I thought the tour guides were great, giving us just the right amount of "free time" to take pictures and ask questions. We were able to see a lot in two hours and then go back on foot to the places we really wanted to explore inside. Great day!!!

We thought the guide was very helpful and informative. He had a relaxed style that put everyone at ease. The segways were the perfect way to look around the capitol and Washington mall areas.

I've wanted to try a Segway for a longtime and this seemed like the way to do it. It's a little pricey, but reasonable for a one-time experience. The tour is well-organized and the tour guides were extremely professional and knowledgeable. It doesn't take an athelete or even someone physically-inclined to quickly get comfortable on these machines. With a short tutorial and training session we were on our way around the city. I was concerned about the radio intercoms between the guides and followers, but this system worked flawlessly. The whole thing seemed well-thought out and organized. Our tour was two-hours and that was a good length for this - remember, you're standing up the whole time. This was an outstanding way to see DC and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Went on the tour with a group of friends. We all had a great time. This activity was one of the highlights of our trip to DC. Our tour guides Aaron and Evan were informative, patient, and fun! Would highly recommend this tour!

Took the Segway tour of Paris in 2007. Was as delighted with the Washington tour! Alan and Aaron were A+ tour guides.

had a great time, took the evening tour to see all the buildings and monuments lit up, less crowded riding around, got to see everything in 2 hours that would have taken 2 days to walk.

Fun on a Segway

It was our first time experiencing the Segway and we determined it to be great fun and certainly beat walking. Other than each side of the White House I can't think of anything tremendously awesome in regards to the tour itself, but doing it on the Segway was cool with many other site see'ers were looking at us and wishing they had done the same.
