See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

We were encouraged to take the tour by some of our friends and from start to finish it was fun and informative. Our guide, Will, was very professional but at the same time made the entire tour fun. I've already recommended the tour to my co-workers and friends and will take the tour again when back in the DC area. Jim

The Segways and the tour would have been good individually, but together they outstanding. Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about DC and took great care of our safety. Even after the tour he was keen to offer suggestions for restaurants and other things to enhance our time in DC. There's something magical about a Segway. They were surprisingly easy to learn to use and were great fun even around the local park. When you put them together with whizzing alongside the White House, the Mall, and the Capitol you have a great combination.

We had family coming in to visit us from New York. The tour was magnificent. The Segways were fun and easy to use. It made their visit special. My sister-in-law was recommending it to people while she was still on the tour. The guide and the manager were especially personable and helpful. I cannot recommend this enough, our family has already insisted we do it again on their next visit - and this is the group we have taken hot air balloning and white water rafting.....

I took my mother on this tour for her 80th birthday. We had such an amazing time and our guide (Will) was fantastic. I would highly recommended this tour to people of all ages. We took this tour at night which I think added to the enjoyment of the tour. D.C. at night is so beautiful and there are a lot less people on the streets and sidewalks.

Tour goes on for the full two hours, the tour guides are knowledgeable and they take safety seriously. Learned many new facts about Washington, D.C., the tour started on time, and I would definitely recommend Capital Segway.

so much fun riding the segways! pretty free range and time to play with them as well as seeing all the basic sights in dc as well as interesting less popular sites and information beyond textbook history and fact bulletin. Guides were funny and nice. Would definitely do this in another town.

It took a few minutes to get used the segway but once I did it was a blast. Our tours guides were extremely nice ( I apologize if I'm incorrect I believe Matt was one of their names) regardless both were enjoyable during our tour. I would highly recommend this activity ( you get a quick summary of many different DC locales ) which you can then pick the places you want to spend more time at after the tour. One small thing for a short time after the tour I had a mild case of what I would say was motion sickness ( had this feeling after boating on occassion ) so this may affect some people ( my wife was fine ) but I would have no reservations on doing this activity again.

I am 60 years old, consider myself generally uncoordinated and out of shape, and grew up outside D. C. and have seen it a million times -- all good reasons not to do this tour. But it was so much fun that I want to take every friend I have and do it again! Forget going into the boring old buildings and seeing pictures of people long gone -- zip through the streets and have strangers smile at you (or not -- they are probably jealous) while you are grooving along at 10 m.p.h. and feeling like you could take off and fly. Plus the tour guides have great stories to tell that I had never heard before (like why the Washington Monument was almost torn down before it was finished -- power plays -- the usual thing). It's really easy, promise!

The experience of cruising around DC on the Segway was one we'll never forget. Steering and manuvering the Segway was effortless; we felt as if we glided around DC, surfing the sidewalks. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeble of the area and more than willing to take pictures of our group. I strongly recommend this activity to anyone that wants to experience something new and exciting.

The segway tour was awesome. We enjoyed riding the segways especially since the guides did such a good job of explaining how to ride them and spent extra time getting used to riding the segways before we started on our tour around DC. Would highly recommend this tour to see the sights in DC and to do something unique.
