See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

This was a hightlight to the Washington DC experience! We had purchased tickets for the Open top tour which covered a good proportion of the sites that the Segway tour visited and yet the perspective from ground level as well as the running commentary gave the tour a very different quality. The Segway training and "mastery" were very much a part of the tours "special" presentation. BTW, this was a first Segway ride for all three of our group and it was "thumbs up" all around!! John

I am not usually very willing to do something like this, but my adult children talked me into it. I am SO glad they did! I had a great time and found the segway to be very easy to control. Since getting home, I have been telling everyone about that part of our trip. It was the highlight of our sightseeing in Washington DC.

The tour guides were very personable. We really enjoyed riding the segway.

The segways were surprisingly easy to use and the guides were excellent. This was much more fun than riding a tour bus. My hard to impress nephew tunred to me and said that this was one of the coolest things he had ever done.

Riding Segways is a thrill in and of itself. Combining the trip with great sites and historical facts provided by skilled historians makes it even better!

My sisters and I took our Mother (who is in her 70s) to visit Washington D.C. The staff is friendly, funny and patient. I was nervous about learning to ride the Segway, but the staff made each person feel comfortable with the learning process. We were all up and "running" in a half an hour. The tour information itself was informative as well as entertaining. I would take this tour again.

The segway tour was one of the best activities I have experienced in DC. It was great to see all the monuments and sights but honestly I was too busy having fun on my segway. The reason I signed up was to show an international relative around the nation's capital. A fun time was had by everyone in the group. I would highly recommend it! I would go back just to ride the segways again. The guides were great too!

Aaron was great, we had a fantastic evening, he was equally patient with my timid beginning to the trip as he was my partner's daredevil take-off the second he put her on the Segway. Saw lots of great sights and had a wonderful time. Really enjoyed the unscripted tour with Aaron's personal touch instead of a recording. Absolutely recommended. If you live here & are using this tour as a way to show your family or friends the city, tell your guide first and ask what may not be seen, our group didn't see the Lincoln and I didn't warn our guide in enough time to make a quick stop by the underground gazebo in the capitol lawn (I'm sure he would have stopped if i mentioned it).

By far one of the best things I have done so far on vacation ever. I was hesitant to get on a segway but after a few minutes of supervised attention, it was a snap. Can't wait to come back and do it again.

The tour guides were informative and fun! They really let you explore the speed of the segways and were really laid back and didn't make us stay in a single file line. My boyfriend and I got great pictures and a good understanding of the city. We had so much fun that when we take another trip to D.C., we would do the tour again! Segways are the best way to see the city!
