See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

We had the best time! Rolling through the Capitol Mall we saw all the momuments. Scott entertained us with historical tidbits and witty commentary. We all wish we had reserved a 2nd tour in the evening tour before it sold out! Thank you Capitol Segway.

The segways were so much fun! I was a little nervous about controlling it, but you are shown a video and given plenty of time to get comfortable. We had perfect weather, which helps. Our tour guides, Nick and Nick, were awesome...... funny, patient, and concerned about our safety. I love that they had microphones and we were supplied with headphones to be able to hear them no matter where we were in the tour line. It was really helpful. The tour hit many great spots in DC. We really had a great time and highly recommend this company to anyone visiting DC!!!

I and a group of five friends had heard positive remarks about the Capital Segway tour and decided to give it a go. We were a bit nervous about going through the Segway learning curve in rapid enough fashion so as to be able to enjoy the tour. Our concerns were quickly eased as we were expertly instructed on how to maneuver the Segway. We had a blast touring the Capital. Our guide kept safety # 1 as he led us down the sidewalks and streets of DC. He was very informative and displayed a wonderful, caring spirit as other tourists not in our group asked him for guidance to some of the sights. The two hour trip was great fun and a fantastic way to take in the sights in a relatively short amount of time. No one regretted the decision to take the tour. I highly recommend the tour to anyone who has an ounce of coordination...come to think of it, I'm not sure that even an ounce is required! Like I said, great fun!!! Oh, I almost forgot to mention it rained the last 20 minutes of the ride and no one was the least bit anxious about the conditions - we were having too much fun to care!

Upon arrival, we found that only my mother and I had registered for the night tour. Rather than canceling and rescheduling because the group was too small, Capital Segway kindly offered to continue the tour - just the two of us. Our guide was extremely patient, taking 30-40 minutes to make sure that we were both safe and comfortable on the Segway. Our guide was also very accomodating as far as the length of the tour - cutting things a little short when requested- as my mother sometimes tires easily due to diabetes. The content of the tour itself was solid. The guide was knowledgable, with a good sense of humor. The segways seemed well maintained. The overall atmosphere was friendly and low pressure, with remarkably patient personel, making for a fun and memorable experience.

The Segway tour provided an interesting and fun way to see the National Mall and monuments of DC. With a convenient location right next to a metro station, the Segway tour alleviated any concerns or headaches associated with parking. The tour included radios with headsets so that each member of the tour clearly heard the narrative of the guide regardless of the location. The Segway proved easy to master and fun to ride. The amount of territory covered in two hours is impressive and effortless thanks to the wheels of the Segway. A great price and knowledgeable tour guides made this a very worthwhile trip to DC.

The DC Segue tour provided just the right mix of history, scenery, and fun. The guide proved knowledgeable and helpful. The Segue is a fun piece of technology and easy to master in only a few short minutes. The tour provided a unique way to see the city at ground level without the physical exertion required to walk several miles. The small radios provided by the tour, allowed us to clearly hear our guide regardless of our location within the tour. I highly recommend this affordable and fun tour. My wife and our 26 year old daughter had a blast. The Segue rocks!

Great tour, great staff! I highly recommend this tour of the city. Lots of fun! The only recommendation that I have would be to make the tour longer. We spent almost 2 hours on the Segways, but only an hour or a little more was spent actually touring.

This is a great fun event. We set it up towards the beginning of the trip to give us an overview of the city. Our guide Max was awesome. He worked with us to ensure we knew how to use the Segway and also gave great info about the places we visited. We definitely will use it again in another city.

Me, my husband, his brother and mother went on the segway tour last weekend. The segways were so easy to use and more fun than anything I have done before as a tourist. The staff is really friendly and knowledgable and they let you enjoy yourself. I highly recommend it as a great way to see a sprawling city.
