We had been looking forward to the experience for a long time and as it turned out,the wait was well worth it. I thought it would be much harder to learn to control but if you can think you can ride, that is all it takes. We didn't want to see the tour end. The tour guide Karen was the best, she helped make the tour interesting and fun. I will be back with my entire family. Thanks for a great time

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of DC on a segway. I was amazed at how quickly one adapts to riding it--it's so easy. The only problem I encountered was getting off of it--with practice, I'm sure that won't be a problem. I've already recommended this event to others. I'd do it again without reservations! Thanks for providing this activity.

The Segway was a great way for us to have fun without the 60-somethings getting too tired to keep up with the 20-somethings. We had a beautiful day to zip around the sights, although 2 hours in the wind and near-freezing weather was a challenge. We would never have been able to do this tour on foot and see as much. I recommend it to young and old (like us).

| My wife and I are in our mid 60's and were hosting a visit by a friend from Italy aged 31. She wanted to do a tour of Washington, and in doing some research on the web, I came across your site. None of us had ever even actaully seen a Segway, but we are fairly active, so we thought it might be fun to try. After a short demo session we were off to try the units in the park across the street, and after that we were on our way. It turned out to be a lot easier than you might think, and we were soon moving around with confidence. The only problem we had was lining the segway up with the wheelchair accessable cutouts at the pedistrian crossings - some of them are pretty narrow, so you have to be pretty well lined up to get thru them without problems. I have to say at the end, i was really comfortable on the Segway and was really enjoying the ride - so i was reluctant to have the tour end. I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone, of any age. My wife and i certainly enjoyed the tour and our visitor told us it was the highlight of her visit so far.

We had a great time. Alex was a good teacher and guide and stayed close with us to be sure we understood how to ride. The actual tour was a bit lame for us Washingtonians, and i really would have preferred a bit more of a broader ride, to G'town, Adams Morgan, zoo, etc. But great fun on the Segways. You need more types of tours.

This was a great experience. Training provided since no prior experience. Great anecdotal information about sites in DC. Didn't feel rushed but got to see a lot. Time to just experience the SegWays! Awesome!

I recommend this to anyone interested in the Segway. Even in a cool misty rain it was enjoyable with a unique perspective of DC. Well worth it.

It was cold, rainy and this husband, wife and 16 year old daughter, who rarely agree on what constitutes a good time, did agree that this did not look promising. After the brief, but adequate training, we and our group of 8 or so others were out the door and onto the wet, Washington streets. Our two guide/shepherds were very nice, fun and armed with much Washington trivia that was shared with us via radio receivers that each person wore. As our skills quickly improved and the weather dried out, we really began to have fun! Zooming around so effortlessly and quickly is something that has to be experienced to even begin to be appreciated. After our tour was completed, and our Segways returned to their places, we left the store and strolled away down the sidewalk. In a very short time it became painfully apparent: WALKING JUST SUCKS! When the astronauts on the International Space Station and the NASA Space Shuttles talk about the joy of living in weightlessness, I bet that riding a Segway is, in some very small way, the same sort of joyous experience. At least these three participants can agree on that.

Nick did a great job getting us around DC with great fun. He gave us the regular tourist information with a lot of fun facts thrown in. I will definitely recommend a Segway tour for every town.

We actually did a bus tour, a walking tour and a segway tour. We learned more on our segway tour with you than any of the others and had a lot more fun because we rode segways! If you've never ridden one you will be amazed at how easy they are to ride and maneuver (even in traffic); they are safe and outrageous fun! And when they say rain or shine they ride; they do. It was raining (more like a heavy drizzle) they furnished ponchos and we hit the road; a little water really is not a "fun" stopper. Our tour guide, Karen, was a local and was amazing both personally and a wealth of information about her city. This tour is reasonably priced (less than in other cities); their equipment is well serviced and they have impeccable customer service. City Tour is a most; we will do it again. Thank for proving to be a highlight of our vacation.
