| I brought my friend that was visiting from out of town and we had the best time ever! We didn't want the tour to end. I can't wait to take more visitors soon! |

| We were locals and really wanted the chance to ride the segway on an adult day off. We enjoyed a beautiful day in the city and took lots of pictures of our wonderful capitol city, segway included. I would highly recommend this tour to visitors as well as locals looking for a new adventure. |

| I'd been before, and loved it.
I took my partner and his family; no one was as eager as I.
Within 20 minutes, the 3 others were just grinning ear-ear,
saying "this is SO much better than we thought".
I was the highlight of a 4 day vacation in DC for our brother-in-law and wife.
Now, my partner wants to go again...
Only request: we'd love to have an option for kids, that would open up a lot more people for us to do this with. |

| I'm glad we took this tour. Riding the segway was a great experience, although more tiring than I anticipated - especially on the feet! I'm very glad we didn't sign up for the longer tour with another company.
The guides only provide a few comments at each stop, but they were interesting. We cruised around the city enough so that later when we returned on foot, we knew where we were. |

| My cousin from Chicago was visiting, so I thought this would be a fun and different thing to do. My cousin is not a thrill-seeker and was a little nervous, but she enjoyed it thoroughly and said she would do it again in a heartbeat. I only wish the tour guides had some sort of microphone as background city noise often overpowered their voice. |

| This was my third Segway tour, the first in the country, and by far the most enjoyable.
This tour provided many opportunities to enjoy the ride as well as see the sites.
You can cover so much more area in two hours then if you had to walk from place to place.
The tour guides looked out for our safety extremely well considering the number of D.C. streets we crossed.
I will definitely do another Segway tour...where to next? |

| The ride was fun (first-timer). And got to see a lot in 2 hours. The tour content was so-so, and didn't cover anything I didn't already know. Plus the $72 price tag is a bit steep. Overall I enjoyed the tour and would consider doing it again. |

Highly Recommend, even for locals

| Being a local, I didn't know how much I would like the Segway Tour, but I was sure that my mother, who is from Illinois and my mother-in-law, from California would certainly like it. Well, not only did they like it, but I did too. The guide (Will) is very informative with his narrative... and, probably the most obvious from the start, is that the Segways are probably the most fun I've had in a long time. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, young and old (My mother-in-law has a bad back, and she was fine throughout the tour) and tourists/locals alike. |

| I was very impressed with the tour company. They had new Segways, and didn't limit the speed like some companies do. Helmets were new, and the office was adequate for initial training to get comfortable on the machine.
The guide/instructor was generally good at first. I felt good about riding in the local area, and she pointed out the sites with good knowledge and speaking ability.
My complaint was when a gentleman in our group hit a chain support pole because he wasn't looking where he was going. It was completely his fault, which he acknowledged, but because he may have been injured, the tour was delayed. That was no problem--we wanted to be sure he was okay. However, the guide looked like she was completely in shock and didn't take any action. She asked if he was okay, but essentially stood there and looked at him until a Park Policeman came up and called an ambulance. Then we stood/rode around for about 45 minutes until another person from the shop could come get us. Since we had time to kill, we wanted to ride around the local area, but she said it wasn't allowed. My gut feeling was she just didn't want to lose control of her group. If that's the case, tell us, but don't get frantic and start saying things are ALL off limits when they're really not.
Suggestions:
1. Guides should be proactive. Call the ambulance, and let them determine if the person is hurt.
2. Sometimes things are scheduled tightly. Allow those people who need to leave to get back to the shop when they have to. As it was, we were late because we had to wait for someone to get us back, even though we knew where we were and where we had to go.
3. Provide maps of the proposed tour route. Then if something happens and people need to head back before the end of the tour, they can follow the map.
4. If you let us know ahead of time that certain things are not allowed (like riding on the Mall), we won't be surprised when you throw that at us when something unusual happens. In fact, a very quick overview of the actual tour would be nice...nothing detailed, but a slide with an overhead view, which contains the unusual items, would only take a minute or two, but would minimize surprises.
*The company should be able to allow this with proper liability releases and positive ID checks if they're worried about theft, etc. |

| My wife and I wanted to doing something fun and different for her mom and step father while they were in town for vacation. I saw the video of the Caps taking a tour with Capital Segway and thought, I need to try that out. Finally after months of talking we decided to do it. Will and Adam (our tour guides) were great and fun. They did a great job providing the history behind the buildings and monuments in DC.
None of us had ever been on a Segway before and so some of us were a little nervous. After a shakey start all of us were up and rolling. The tour lasted about 2 hours and provided plenty of time for cruising.
I am glad we finally did it and would recommend it to anyone that wants to learn a little history and get a chance to ride a Segway. It was worth the money and we had a blast. The in-laws are already talking about doing again the next time they are in town. |
