| Excellent adventure. If you can stand, you can truly ride a segway. Many times we were able to go top speed if we wanted to...we wanted to! We will be seeking out this adventure in other locations and will definitely be back to CapSegway for the night tour in the near future! |

| I've been to Washington many times, but never covered so much ground or learned as much in this amount of time. Riding the segway was a blast. I'll definitely do it again on my next visit. |

| The Segway is a fun way to see DC. They took us on a loop that stopped at many of the important sights. My wife and I took a Segway tour in Atlanta and thought it would be fun to do it in DC, our home town. The only thing I would change is the length of the tour. The Atlanta tour was 3 hours and we heard more about the city since the guide had more time. Our guides could have given the tourist on our tour more information if they had more time. I think tourist would pay for a longer tour as well. |

| What a great way to see DC. To ride on a Segway gives you such freedom as you get a general idea of the layout of the city. The tour gives you the overview you need to go back out on your own and visit the interiors of these sites at a later time. The tour personnel were very friendly. Although we did not get to visit every site, it was very entertaining. It sure beats sitting on some tour bus. |

| So my first Segway tour was a blast and the two guys giving the tour were super nice and it was so easy to hop on and learn to ride in a matter of minutes. My girlfriend has since added a Segway to her Christmas wish list.
I was in DC on business and had only 1 extra day to take in the sights of DC so whatever tour we planned would be the only tour we would have time for. We opted for the Segway tour and took the night tour and it was certainly fun to buzz around DC on the Segways.
The tour itself was just OK. There are limitations on where you can go on a Segway in DC and I suspect this is why we didn't get up close and personal to any of the buildings. It would of been nice for example to actually walk up the stairs of the Capital but we were blocks and blocks away from the Capital and never went near it. We also didn't get to see the Lincoln Memorial at all.. While we saw the Washington Monument again it was from afar we didn't actually get to go up to the monument itself... I would of liked to see a little more time allowed and encouragement to take photos. We did stop at the White House a bit and the Capital Building a bit but those were the only two spots where we had time to get off the Segway's and take photos... The rest of the time we were rushing from spot to spot...
So yes it was super fun to ride the Segway's around DC, but for a "tour" of DC be prepared to be disappointed. If I had it to do over again I would of booked a "proper" DC tour and gave up the novelty of riding the Segway.
For a couple hours of fun riding around DC on a Segway you can't go wrong. But for a "tour" of DC you might want to book another tour that is a little less rushed and more all inclusive where you get to see the sights up close and where you get to see all the sights not just a few here and there. |

| We originally wanted to try the Segways. What I realized after the trip was this is the best way to start a DC adventure, and the first stop that should be made.
DC is big and there is much to see and do. The tour gives you a chance to see a lot of sights quickly and easily, and it's extremely fun. When you get back on foot you can go visit the sights that interested you along with the museums and eateries.
The staff was fun and put safety first, and their knowledge of the area was impressive and the details of the sights we visited was remarkable. It was worth every penny and I highly recommend it.
We went to the Coldplay concert on Friday, ate at Fogo De Chao, went to countless museums and did a lot of my favorite things in DC, but the Segway tour was by far the highlight of the trip.
What a great invention, what an outstanding company.
I don't know how well this would work in other cities, but these folks do it right in DC. |
