| Our young tour guide seemed a bit laissez-faire about the whole process. He often did not speak into the microphone, so we missed a few tidbits, but overall, we were satisfied. Additionally, he could have shared MANY more facts about the sights and had plenty of time to do so as we only had four people on our tour. I would still recommend the Segway Tour to visiting tourists. |

| We took the tour of Washington DC on Segways, and had the BEST experience. Did our sightseeing in a new & fun way, and also learned some things along the way. Although I was nervous about riding the segways (being somewhat uncoordinated), the staff reassured me & had me up & riding confidently in a very short amount of time. Our tour guide, Karen, was very knowledgeable & fun to tour with! I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in doing something different while still being educational! My children (16 year old twins, 17 year old), my husband and I wouldn't hesitate to take the tour again the next time we are in DC. |

| Do not hold back on taking the Segway tour of Washington, DC! Anyone can learn to ride a Segway in less than three minutes--the key insight? It balances you, you do not balance the Segway!
I held back because I am close to 70 years of age. Then I saw a lady who had ten or 15 years on me, happily cruising down the DC streets, so my wife and I gave it a try. We were up and going in less than three minutes. Now, I've taken four groups of friends and out-of-town visitors for their rides. It is as close to flying as you will ever get, while staying on the ground.
Two asides: 1) If you cannot stand for about two hours, with occasional rests to sit down, it is not for you, and 2) take an evening or late afternoon tour if possible.
Why? The tour guides are young and healthy and "party-hearty." For them, the day begins about 5 PM when they wake up. You'll get the same spiel on any trip, but the enthusiasm is definitely lacking in the morning and early afternoon. |

| My teenage son and I went on the evening tour after a full day in DC. All of my fear quickly diminished upon the completion of the thorough Segway training session. Our guide / instructor explained in practical terms just how easy the Segway was to operate. After the orientation, we become even better acclimated to the new device as we spent some time tooling through the park across the street. After a few minutes everyone in our group was maneuvering around displaying their newly acquired skills. Then it was off on our adventure. Nothing will compare to the memory of going back and forth in front of the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue or listening to the Navy Band as they played on the steps of the Capitol. Throughout the evening, our guide easily communicated to everyone through use of his FM radio transmitter. The evening was enjoyable, informative and most of all...FUN! |

| What an outstanding experience! Aaron, our Segway guide was excellent! I especially enjoyed having the wireless microphones so we could hear his narration of the tour. I will definitely be bringing other guests on this tour. Thank you! |

| This was a hightlight to the Washington DC experience! We had purchased tickets for the Open top tour which covered a good proportion of the sites that the Segway tour visited and yet the perspective from ground level as well as the running commentary gave the tour a very different quality. The Segway training and "mastery" were very much a part of the tours "special" presentation. BTW, this was a first Segway ride for all three of our group and it was "thumbs up" all around!!

| I am not usually very willing to do something like this, but my adult children talked me into it. I am SO glad they did! I had a great time and found the segway to be very easy to control. Since getting home, I have been telling everyone about that part of our trip. It was the highlight of our sightseeing in Washington DC. |

| The segways were surprisingly easy to use and the guides were excellent. This was much more fun than riding a tour bus. My hard to impress nephew tunred to me and said that this was one of the coolest things he had ever done. |
