| We loved it! My wife and I were in DC for the week and this was the first thing we did. All week long we wished we still had our Segways to cruise around on. It was so much fun, and a great way to see a lot of sites in a short period of time. I highly recommend this to anyone visting the area. It is a must do! |

| We had a fantastic tour. The tour guides were great and the Segways were a blast. The Segways were easy to use and there was a good mix between the tour narrative and cruising along city sidewalks on the Segway. We now all want a Segway of our own. |

| I really enjoyed the tour and getting to try something innovative and new. I also felt that the price was fair for the experience. The guides were excellent taking the time to offer to take photos at various landmarks. Their relaxed manner made me more comfortable about asking questions. We went on the last day of our holiday and it was the perfect end to a great trip!! |

| The guides were great, in particular one who had great knowledge of the surrounding landmarks and buildings. If you have limited time in DC and want to explore the Mall etc this is the perfect way. The segways are easy to use too if you can leave your brain at home and just let it all happen naturally. I found myself looking to see if there were segway tours of other cities we visited on our trip. So much fun. |

| It was a fun activity to do, but this is not the best method for site seeing. you are much more focused on the segway and not on the sites or taking pictures. |

| On July 26th, I took such a tour in Washington , DC . After about 10-15 minutes of in store training (about one minute for each member of the tour) we took off on our tour of the site from the White House - to the Capitol - the monuments, etc. After a short stop at the White House we were leaving the security area around the White House when something went wrong - not quite sure what it was – and I went flying over the handlebars of the Segway. The result - a fracture to the right side of my skull, a fractured nose, a fractured elbow and a fractured jaw. Plus I lost about two pints of blood during the process.
I spent the next three days in the ER and the ICU being treated and was then sent back to our daughters home to recover. Only liquid diet for four weeks, many very painful cuts and bruises - and the end of what had been planned as a nice vacation.
The point here is that these tours do NOT provide sufficient training on these hard to get used to vehicles. If I were the only one to have had such an accident, I would just chalk it off as my own stupidity. HOWEVER - the ER at George Washington University Hospital told us that they get 2-3 such accidents per WEEK. I also saw an optician while there to have him fix my sunglasses that had been badly twisted in the accident - he told us that just that past week he had two customere who had also had touring Segway accidents - one with a broken arm and one with a broken leg. I know that these Segways have been in use by mail carriers, policemen and others. I would bet a small fortune that these people receive hours of closely watched training on their use before they are cleared to ride them.
It might be of interest to you to check with hospitals in other cities to see if they have had similar Segway accident rates in their cities. I do hope that you will consider taking a much closer look at these "wonderful" new machines for use by tours.
Thanks for your listening - Best regards, Robert Berg Cheshire, CT |

| Fun, good tid bits about the history, provided a different look at the sites than the typical 'monument only' tour. Segways are a blast to get around on and quite easy to get familiar with. |

| This was the highlight of our trip. The kids were skeptical that they would be able to make the Segway work properly but it was easy and they really enjoyed the experience. I have already recommended this activity to friends who are planning a trip to DC in the fall. This is a must do activity. |
